April Stamp TV Alumni Blog Hop

What a fun hop this is going to be!! If you came from Karen Knegten's blog you are right on track.  You can begin at Stamp TV and get all the details!   Carolina at Stamp TV challenged us to use one of the following Stamp TV Kits :

  • Autumn Splendor
  • Blessed is the Season
  • Bold Flowers
  • Eclectic Summer
  • Eclectic Summer Sayings
  • Elegant Flowers
  • Enjoy the Sunshine
  • Holiday Cheer
  • Holiday Greetings
  • Organize It!
  • Picture It!
  • Sent with Love StampTV Kit
  • Signs of Autumn
  • Spring Mix
  • Springtime Silhouettes StampTV Kit
  • Thanks a Million
  • Winter Wonderland
I have most of these sets and it was a hard decision which to use. Couldn't make up my mind so I used 2 different stamp sets on the first card.   The "thank you" sentiment and butterflies stamped on vellum and colored with Copics are from Spring Mix, the little dotted box is from Organize It and the flower is made of tissue paper with a little brad   This was a fun -- and easy card to make.  The green textured paper is from one of Gina K's free downloads and the pink/green flower paper is from a Stamp TV Card Kit.

Here is another card.  The sentiment is from Spring Mix and is heat embossed with White EP.  I used Gina K cardstock in the colors of  Chocolate, Turquoise Sea and White, with a scrap of misc dp and a die cut clock make up the main part of the card.

Now hop along to  Jennie Harper's blog.  I know you will enjoy the colors she used!  After the last one, please be sure to leave a comment at Stamp TV.

Thank you for looking at my card --- I hope you have a HAPPY stamping day!

REPEAT IMPRESSIONS Challenge

Hey guys, it's Wednesday and time for a Repeat Impressions sketch challenge.  I love the sketches Wendy offers up for our challenges.  They get me thinking and trying new ideas.  Well, today is a GREAT challenge.  Here is her sketch:
And here is my card:
I wanted to do a little more masculine card without any buttons and bows.  I used the stamp "Life is not measured..."  Check out all the Vertical Sentiments -- there are some wonder images that go with a variety of sentiments!

Now, would you like to take on the challenge?  All you have to do is make a card with Wendy's sketch and post it on the blog The House That Stamps Built and at the end of the month Wendy will randomly select a winner to receive a gift certificate from the Repeat Impressions collection.

Here is a list of the other Design Team members to give you some inspiration.

CR84FN Color Challenge

I have loved this challenge blog CR84FN Color Challenge.  I'm trying to met their challenges weekly! Their Design Team is a group of really talented ladies and I know you will enjoy getting inspiration from their weekly challenge.  So here are the colors for this week:
Aren't they great colors?  Here is my card.
Paper:  Memory Box, Stamp: Verve

Now, I hate making excuses -- but please indulge me -- this pic was taken with my iphone -- so the quality is not the best.  My trusty cyber shot has a stuck shutter.  So I borrowed my daughters camera -- and I left the cord that goes from the camera to the computer at another daughter's house -- She just had a baby and I took about 6 billion pics of that precious baby and left the cord there. Soooo....until I go visit next week, my iphone will be my picture taking equipment!

Repeat Impressions Designers Choice Challenge

For the Creative Belli Challenge, please scroll down one post.  Thanks!

This is the second in a series of challenges from Wendy at Repeat Impressions.  The first one was a real hit and we enjoyed seeing what you created.  The second one is from Karen - she challenged us to make a Child's Birthday or Happy Day card with embossing -- wet or dry or both.

You can join the challenge and maybe win a gift certificate!  Just create a project (doesn't have to be a card) and link it to the link found at The House That Stamps Built blog.  We would love to see what you can do!!
The stamp is "Happy Birthday" from Quartet Compliments.  I used some scraps from my scrap basket and put some glitter on a number 8 using a xyron, then added a little flower with some bling. The sentiment was embossed with black ink and clear embossing powder and the top half was embossed with a cuttlebug folder.

Check out these Design Team Members' creations.
 Have a HAPPY stamping day!
