Creative Belli Challenge

Hi - Today Darcie owner of Creative Belli Challenge is challenging us to make a card that uses a sentiment only - Great way for a CAS card!

Remember the spirit of the challenge is to use something that has been laying around for a while.  Something - like a tool or embellishment that you've kept stashed away for a while.  Let us know what your "old or forgotten" is.

Here is my card:
The "old or forgotten" is the little flag/brad banner and the stamp that I used for around the sentiment.  That stamp is one of the first I ever bought and that was before I knew to save wraps for the manufacture names.  The sentiment is from Repeat Impressions.

Here is the list of Designers who made projects to inspire you.

Now it is your turn to make a card and link it on the Creative Belli Challenge site.   I look forward to seeing what you create - thanks for looking at my card, have a HAPPY stamping day!

Creative Belli Challenge Wedding/Engagement Card

What a perfect time for the challenge that Darsie of the Creative Belli Challenge has offered!  This is the perfect time of the year for engagements and weddings.  I made this card for my next door neighbor's son whose engagement party is next Sunday.

Remember the spirit of the Creative Belli Challenge is for you to use something that you have not used in a while or some older stash or tool.  This is to encourage you to use what you have and not buy something new.  Please let us know what older item you have used.  It will encourage and challenge others to do the same.

My "older" is the paper.  I love Webster Pages paper and I hoard it like crazy!  I even have a separate box where I often just look at it!  Well, I parted with some for this special occasion.  The stamp is from Repeat Impressions.  Isn't it a great sentiment!  The stamped frame is from Gina K Designs and the die cut frame is from Spellbinders.

Darsie would like for you to make a wedding or engagement card and link it to the Creative Belli Challenge blog.

Here is the list of Designers who have made something to inspire you.

Thank you for looking at my card - have a HAPPY stamping day.

Repeat Impressions Designers Choice Challenge

Today Karen one of the Design Team members from Repeat Impressions challenged us to make a card using these three elements:  stamped image, embossing and die cut or punch.

Here is my card:

The stamp is one of the new series called Big Boy Toys  Wendy at Repeat Impressions just released.  It is called Airplane (9112).  I used a die cut for the zig-zag and I heat embossed the background clouds which was a featured stamp a few weeks ago.

Now Wendy owner of Repeat Impressions would like to challenge you to make a card using these 3 elements and post it on her blog, The House That Stamps Built.   She will pick a random winner for a nice gift certificate at Repeat Impressions.

Creative Belli Challenge 143 Baby

Darsie, the owner of Creative Belli Challenge has challenged us to make a Baby card, baby shower or announcement card.  Remember part of the Creative Belli challenge is to use some old or forgotten about embellishment or tool.

This bottom half of this card was made from a stationary card someone sent me long ago and I just could not throw it away.  The top part is dp from my sister.  The little brad is one I dug up from the bottom of my brad box.  The little scallop piece under the ribbon is a VERY old piece of Laura Ashley paper -- not sure if they are even into printing paper anymore.
Darsie would like to challenge everyone to make a Baby card, baby shower or announcement card.  Be sure to let us know what your "old or forgotten embellishment is.  For each challenge, we will choose the one card that WOW'd us and closely followed the theme! If you are chosen as a Belle, you will be asked to be a Guest Designer for one of our challenges and have a badge to proudly post on your blog!

Creative Belli Challenge - Animals

East Texas is still having beautiful spring days - that will soon come to an end!  Our hot weather will start end of May and certainly by the first of June.  Hope you  are having beautiful spring days where ever you are.

Today the Creative Belli Design Team was challenged by Darsie to make a card with an animal.  And Darsie Bruno owner of the Creative Belli Challenge is offering some really cool Blog Candy!

That is an easy challenge for me - my husband is a veterinarian and I have lots of animal image stamps.  This one is from Gina K Designs.

Remember the objective of the Creative Belli Challenge is to use some "old or forgotten" embellishment or tool.  Let us know what is your "old and forgotten" element in your post.  You might encourage someone to use their "old and forgotten".

Here is my card:

The little dog image is from Gina K Designs, as is the sentiment.  The "old and forgotten" in my card is the yarn/twine.  It was given to me by my sister - she will be surprised to see it.  This "old" twine/yarn was just the right thickness that I needed.  Here is the list of Designers who have made projects to inspire you.  Make a project that features an animal and post it on the Creative Belli Blog - we'd love to see what you did!

Repeat Impressions Sketch for April 18

Spring has sprung!  It is popping up everywhere all over Texas.  The bluebonnets this year are spectacular! The roses in my back yard have some of the best blooms they have ever had!  With the amazing colors out everywhere, I took Wendy's sketch from Repeat Impressions and mad a couple of cards. Here is Wendy's sketch
Isn't this a great sketch!
and here is my first card:
I used the stamps:  Floral Peace and Spring.

My second card, I made with my grandson's birthday party in mind.  It is a single page and thought I could do them pretty fast.

I used the stamps:  Jester and Invitation blanks.  I love Repeat Impression's Invitation Blank, it's so easy to use.  Do you see the "Let's Party"?  That is the last words to the Spring stamp.  I did a little masking and used my stamp-a-maji.  One of the good things about Wendy's stamps is that she has designed them for easy masking,  Love it!!

Ok., now why don't you join in the opportunity to win a nice gift certificate from Wendy.  Just make a card using Wendy's sketch and link it on her blog.

Here is what the rest of the team created.
Thank you for looking at my card.  Have a HAPPY stamping day.
