Today Cheri one of the Repeat Impressions Rock Stars challenged all the other designers to make a card using the colors red, white and black.  Here is my card:

 

I used the image called Mina from Wendy's Far East Series.  I just love this image and it is very detailed.  I embossed a piece of cardstock and put a bright red bow on it.

Stamp TV Favorite Things Challenge

Tonight Caroline has arranged a STAMP TV Blog Hop.  Our inspiration is from one of the songs from the movie The Sound of Music.

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens

Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens

One of my favorite things -- the Stamp It Big stamp set!! Love it.  Paper is GKD called Pool Side.  The little round background for the buttons is from Simple Snowflakes, cardstock is Pure Luxury White and Chocolate Brown.

Next up using the Stamp It Big Stamp Set:

 

Used the balloons from Scooter Diva, cardstock is Blue Raspberry and Pure Luxury White and paper is Hello Sunshine.


Because this card is a square, I used a glycine bag to hand deliver.  I used Ticket Trio as a closure.

Repeat Impressions Designer Choice Challenge

Today Kecia one of the Repeat Impression's Rock Star Designers challenged us to make a project using our all time favorite Repeat Impression stamp ----NOT FAIR - NOT FAIR because that is too hard to do!  I could tell you to just open their web site and take a pick of any stamp-- they are ALL fabulous.  Because I needed a "thank you" card, I used this image which I really do love.

Stamp TV Color Combo Challenge Blog Hop

Today Carolina from Stamp TV has arranged a Color Challenge Blog Hop for us.  Geri from the Alumni Design Team has chosen the colors of  pink, red and one neutral (white, black or tan) for the challenge.

If you have come from Karen's blog  (I' m sure you loved her card) you are right on target!  If not, you might want to start at the beginning of Stamp TV right here.    So you will not miss any of the amazing projects!

Here is my 1st card:

This used the stamps from Seasonal Labels - the sweet little "love" sentiment is from the same set - I just did a little masking and was able to just use the love part of the stamp.  The cardstock is Black Onyx from Gina K.

Since the card is black, I put this on the inside in order to make it a little easier to write on:

The next card uses the "blackboard technique" that seems to be so popular now.

The darling little owl &stamp sentiment are from Sun-Kissed Autumn, the swirls are from Seasonal Labels, and the little heart is from Ticket Trio.  The beautiful scroll frame is from an older set that has
FABULOUS frames for making those neat chalkboard frames you see on Pinterest and is called Festive Labels (check it out here).  One of the things I like about Gina K stamp sets is that she packs so many stamps in a set, it is easy to find little ones that look great on those chalkboard cards.

I looked thru my papers and found the brightest colors I could find.  I used the stamps called "Be My Valentine!" and "Cherub Flourish" -- which I LOVE!

Creative Belli Challenge - Rhinestones

Don't you just love Rhinestones!! Today Darsie, owner of the Creative Belli Challenge asked us to make a project using Rhinestones.  Here is my card:

I used an "irock gimme glam rhinestone setter".  I was given this at CHA (Craft and Hobby Show) a few week ago by one of their sweet demonstrators.  It is so easy to use and comes with a large supply of different sizes of rhinestones.  I used it to set the rhinestones on the netting under the button on the bow and to set the rhinestones on my sentiment tag.  Here is a You Tube video about it.

I used the stamps from Seasonal Labels and the inside comes from Holiday tags - my card is a thank you card for a family who sent me flowers.  I used papers from Gina K's Wisteria lane and the label is actually the label on the front of the package, I just fussy cut it out and replace the inside with  the sentiment and the little decorated circle is from Festive Labels.  The card stock is Vibrant Violet.

I turned the sketch around, used one of my favorite images from Wendy's new series called, Beautiful Days.  It was colored with some copics with added yellow Perfect Pearls for the centers, and the little flourishes are from Spellbinders.

Repeat Impression's Designer's Choice Challenge

Good morning!  Ready for a challenge from Repeat Impressions?  It my turn to offer up the challenge -- and I challenge everyone to make a card using something with snow.  We hardly ever get snow -- and we haven't yet this year -- so we make do with just making cards and scrapbook layouts with snow.  Here is my card:

I just love Repeat Impressions Snowflake stamps.  There are some large ones and some small ones.  I cut out the snowflakes and layered them after stamping and embossing them with white EP.  The sentiment is Take Time to Chill Out.  It is actually a stamp from the Summer Series, but it sure goes well with snowflakes!

Repeat Impression Stamp of the Week

How was your Christmas?  Ready for New Year's and a party???  Wendy, owner of Repeat Impressions has a great stamp for stamp of the week -- and I used it for party invitations to our Neighborhood New Year's party.  Our HOA has a New Year's party every year - mostly people my age - trying to stay away until 12:00!!!  We have good clean fun and eat too much!
