Sketch Challenge for October

Today Wendy, owner of Repeat Impressions has created a sketch for this weeks challenge.

For my card I turned the image and here is my card

I used one of my favorite images called Nubble Lighthouse.  This is one of the iconic lighthouse of Maine and one of my favorite spots.  The sentiment Thinking of You is one of my favorites because it can be for a birthday, sympathy, get well, anniversary or any other occasion.  It is one of the Quartet Compliments.  So many sentiments that can fit almost anywhere.  Check them out.

I used several of the grids, Wildlife, tall card (this one is 7x4), dimension, stencil (the large feather), and texture (pine needles and red spray).

Pick of the Week at Repeat Impressions

Today I get to pick a couple of stamps to show off.  Interactive stamps are so popular now, I wanted to try my hand.  Repeat Impressions has a category of stamps called Flip Stamps - they are 35 different sets and so easy to work with.  Let me explain and show you a few aids that will make these interactive stamps easy-peazy.

First Wendy, owner of Repeat Impressions has created a bundle that is called Flip Card Kits.  There is no measuring, scoring or cutting -- Wendy has already prepared that for you.  This also comes with complete visual instructions.  All you do is stamp and use your own adhesive.

The Flip Sets I used are Autumn Splendor and Mouse Flip Set.  Each set consists of 4 stamps and a sentiment.  Wendy has created 35 of these sets and they range from sweet to hilarious.  Check them all out in the Flip Stamp Sets Category.

As an extra add on to make your creations stand out a little more Repeat Impressions has 2 die sets that will frame your cute flips stamps perfectly.  They are called Flip Fancy Die Set and Flip Stitched Die Set.

Today it is Heather's Choice Challenge at Repeat Impressions.  She issued the challenge to make a project with "Things Beginning with B".  Think button, butterfly, babies, bluebirds, -- oh wow -- the ideas are limitless!  What a great challenge.  Here is my card

I went with buttons.  Repeat Impressions has the cutest Button stamp with this Cute as a ...... sentiment.  I embossed the background and stamped the buttons and heat embossed the sentiment on vellum.

Hello Stamping Friends.  This week at Repeat Impressions, Wendy is letting Anything Go!!...... for the challenge.

So here is my project.

This is one of those Magic Picture Changer cards. The images are from the Mouse Flip Set.  There are so many of the Flip Sets that Wendy has created that are perfect for this.    The sentiment was stamped and then when the tab is pulled it changes to the two little mice.
