Anything Goes - Today - at Repeat Impressions

Helooooo friends!  Hope you are having a great day.  Wendy, owner of Repeat Impressions has challenged us today with an "Anything Goes" project!  Any project - card, layout or  3-D project.

I got adventuresome this week and made a collage/vintage card - This type of card is not my "thing", but I love the looks of the ones I see on Pintrest and tried my hand.  The images I used are:

Inspiration Challenge at Repeat Impressions

When I saw this immediately came to mind was a wonderful watermelon image that Wendy created, but then decided to go with the colors and do some watercoloring!  Here is my card

I love the Hummingbird (on a special sale) image and the sentiment called A man travels....(and it is on sale!) is one of my favorites.

Tic Tac Toe Challenge

Hi friends!  Hope you are enjoying summer and maybe a little time off.  Today Wendy has a Tic Tac Toe Challenge for us.  Here is the grid she has created.  So many possibilities!

Here is the card I made.

I used patterned paper, butterflies and sequins.  I love the butterfly image - which is Small butterfly.  There are several sizes and views of butterflies.  I wish you could see all the texture that Wendy has created in the Butterfly Stamps.  And of course the sentiment is perfect for summer time.  The sentiment is called Some days... and is in a special Summer Section.

Christmas in July!

Good morning friends!  Today Patti, one of the Rock Star Designers for Repeat Impressions has challenged us to make a Christmas project for Christmas in July.

Yikes - this is a real challenge for me.  I am at my summer house in Maine and I brought every Repeat Impression stamp I have except for my Christmas things!  Oh Yikes!  But never fear - some of Repeat Impression stamps are so versatile and they can be used for many occasions!  So here is what I made.

I used the stamp Rejoice - which is in the Easter section under Seasonal and Holidays and I used traditional red and green paper and a die cut holly.  Bam! - Got my first Christmas card made.

Hey, if I can do it - so can you!

Anything Goes Challenge

I used my favorite Flower positive and then the sweet sentiment called A Friend knows.....  I layered some tiny music notes to emphasize the sentiment.

Tic-Tac-Toe Time at Repeat Impressions

Hi Stamping Friends!  Today Wendy, owner of Repeat Impressions has a Tic Tac Toe grid for us - here it is.

and here is my card

It is one of the long ones that measure 8.5 by 3.25 that fit in a standard size 9 envelope.  The image is Baby and the sentiment is one of the Quartet Compliments.  I cut out 3 of the babies, stacked them and then colored the top one.  I then put the babies on little wobbles for cards.  So they wiggle - just love them!  Oh by the way, my grid was Tone on Tone, Non-standard card shape and Babies.

Pick of the Week

Today Wendy, owner of Repeat Impressions is allowing me to pick a stamp and tell you a little about it.

A few weeks ago I used one of these for a challenge card and I kinda went a little crazy and decided it was my new favorite.  They come from a category called Vertical Stamps - be sure to check this section out.  There are a lot of really neat images.  I used the stamp to make cards and envelopes.

I used the Floral Positive and the Fish Positive.  I like using the Fish Positive because it was SOOOOO.. easy to make a masculine card.  The sentiment in both is Today is a gift...  I also used the same stamps on envelopes - kinda jazzes them up a bit.  I added Wink of Stella and they have a soft sparkle.

Be sure to take a look at the category of Vertical Stamps.  You will find some awesome stamps and sentiments.  Thank you for looking at my cards.

Tag- You are It!

Today from Repeat Impressions, Laurie has given us the challenge to make a tag - I LOVE tags - and this will be fun!  Here are 3 tags I made.

I used Garden Bench, Grass Border, To Plant a Garden sentiment and one of the trees from the Tree Flip Set.  The bench was cut out four times and stacked up for each tag.  I colored the top one with copics and used scrap paper on them.

Tic Tac Toe Challenge

Aren't these fun?  I love Tic Tac Toe Challenges at Repeat Impressions.  They give me a head start on what to do.  Wendy has given us this grid to meet her challenge.

I used Diecut/Punch, Embossing and Twine and here is my card with the die cut doors closed.

I used the fabulous Flip Stamp set called Lemons.....  I only used 3 of the images.  Check out all the Flip Stamps, some are hilarious!
