Cold, Cold Card Making Day

We don't get hardly ANY snow ever, but we do have cold damp days.  Today is one of those -- Tonite it is suppose to get to 16.  Now for you up North that's not very cold, but for us in East Texas -- we are not prepared!  It is a hoot to go to the grocery store -- the shelves are bare of bread and milk --- people here think it will be too cold to get out so they stock up!  It's probably hilarious to some -- we are such sissies!  Here are a couple of my cards I've made up since it's too cold to go anywhere.

Stamps: GKD Festive Labels, Nina Brackett's Elegant Post
Paper: GKD Pure Luxury White, Sweet Corn, Smoky Slate cardstock, Cosmos Cricket dp
Other: Cuttlebug butterfly, grey ink, ribbon

This one was made for a friend whose husband is in hospice care.  He is only 40 with two little boys (4 and 2). You can read her blog here.  Erin and Layne are such sweet people.

Stamps: Nina Brackett's Lovely Shelf and Vintage Borders
Paper: Gina K Designs Chocolate Kiss, Ivory, Sweet Corn Cardstock
Other: misc ribbon, pearls, brown ink, Cuttlebug
I embossed with clear powder the Vintage Border on sweet corn
