WHAT IF WEDNESDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE

It's Wednesday, so as you may know Wendy at Repeat Impressions challenges us every other Wednesday with a sketch.  Here is the sketch for this week:
For this sketch I made two cards, one for a friend in England and the second one is for my Valentine card stash.
This one used the sentiment Wishing you happiness......is actually a Happy Birthday sentiment, but I masked the Happy Birthday and thought it went so well as wishes for the new year.

This one uses the sentiment "Just because I care" and the sweet bear is  Bear with Heart.  We would love for you to show us your take on this sketch.  You can make your project, then post it on Wendy's blog, The House That Stamps Built.  You could be the random winner of a gift certificate from Repeat Impressions.

Here is a list of the Design Team members that will give you lots of inspiration.
Thanks for looking at my card and have a HAPPY stamping day!

Stamp TV Alumni BLOG HOP for a Treat Holder

Time for a Stamp TV Blog Hop and a Give Away.  --  If you have just come from Karen Knegten's blog you are on the right track.  As you read, Carolina challenged us to make a Treat Holder with a Christmas or New's Year theme.  I made these for my two sisters.  We are having a "card making, scrappin' weekend on the 16, 17 and 18th of December.  We go to our weekend house and play all weekend -- with no kids or husbands -- Wahoo, we hardly even get out of our pjs!    These will be my little goodie for them.  Here they are:

I used Gina K's Cranberry Tart and Fresh Asparagus Pure Luxury Cardstock.  (I love these colors!) The stamp set is Winter Mittens.  It has lots of labels that can be used all year long.

Make sure to leave a comment as you hop along because on Tuesday morning (December 13), we will randomly choose one of the comments from all the blogs and that person will receive a huge grab bag of fabulous Gina K. Designs Stamps!

Now it's time for you to hop to Deb Felts.  She has a beautiful project for you to see!  When you finish with the whole hop, stop by Stamp TV and leave a comment there also!

A Crazy Project

I was recently asked, what is the craziest project I've ever done.  Well this is it!! A Toilet Paper Advent Tree Calendar!  OMW!!

I took a tp rolls, cut them into 24 - 2 inch segments, covered each 24 segment with dp the adhered those to a tree shaped board.  I filled each segment with a little prize, then punched 24 scallops, numbered them 1-24 and attached those to the open end of each segment.

Grand kids got to open them until Christmas day!  Crazy, and I'll not do it again!
here are the insides:
Thanks for looking at my crazy project!
Have a HAPPY stamping day.

Repeat Impression's Designer Case Challenge - Vicki

Vicki one of the Design Team Members at Repeat Impression challenged us this week to make a bookmark as a gift or for ourselves.   So here is my book mark:
This is an acetate bookmark.  I love it because it's light, but easy to find my place.  I just folded a piece of acetate the size needed and adhered my stamped nestability with  light Glossy Accents.

I used the image Comfy Chair and the sentiment is Simple Pleasures.  Why don't you take the opportunity to make a  little Christmas gift or stocking stuffer -- make a bookmark and then post your photo on Wendy's page The House that Stamps Built.  You could be the random winner of a $25.00 gift certificate -- GREAT Christmas money!!!  Love to see what you create!

Repeat Impressions Sketch for November 30th

Last day in November - can you believe Christmas is just around the corner!  Seems like I just got thru with Fourth of July!  I was in Hobby Lobby yesterday and they are one new isle dedicated to new Summer Patio stuff!  HEAVENS!  I haven't finished my Christmas cards!  Oh, well, "time marches one"!

Here is the sketch Wendy gave us this week:
and here is my card:
I love this Santa image!  It is called Santa's Friend.  He is absolutely adorable.  I used a few Copic markers and some Liquid Applique that puffs up when heated.  The sentiment is here.

Why don't you make a card using this sketch?  We would love to see what you can do -- we get so much inspiration from our readers.  You can post it on Wendy's blog -- right here.  There will be a randomly chosen winner who will get a nice gift certificate! -- That would come in handy for Christmas!  Here are some ideas from the Design Team.

Repeat Impression's Kendra's Designer Case Challenge

This week Kendra one of the Repeat Impression's Design Team Members challenged us to make a Christmas project that uses a snowflake.  Sooo...wow are the possibilities unlimited!! I made two -- and before Spring comes again, I'll be using more of Repeat Impressions Snow flakes.  Here are two I made:
This one used the Snowflake (Wendy has two sizes - this is the small one) and the Got Snow? sentiment -- don't you just love that sentiment!  Here in Texas, we don't get much snow, but we still have dreams of a white Christmas.

And because I love the little Penguins so much here is another one:

Isn't that the sweetest small Penguin (comes in 2 sizes)!  I put him in the Globe with a small Pine tree (comes in 2 sizes) and a Snowflake (comes in two sizes) and some white felt.

Here is a list of the Rock Stars and their projects.  Why don't you join us in this challenge?  Make a Christmas project with a snowflake(s) and post it to the House That Stamps Built blog and you could be the random winner of a really nice gift certificate from Wendy!

Blessings!  Have a Happy Stamping Day!

Stamp TV Alumni Inspirational Hop

If you came from Giovana's  blog, you are at the right spot. Wasn't her card beautiful! So that you don't miss a single one of the inspirational projects, you can start at Stamp TV.  Carolina at Stamp TV challenged us with this pic:
Here is my first card:

Stamp sets were:  Winter Friends (holly, bird), Holiday Cheer (ornament, snowflake, stocking) and Blessed is the Season (joy) - I did some masking to get just the joy to show.  Used various circle punches and scraps of Christmas papers.

Have you ever started on a card with great inspiration and then your card/project ends up NOTHING like your inspiration?  Well, this is one of those cards.  It turned out nothing like I wanted it to.  LOL!  I had fun anyway and I got one more Christmas card made!  Here is my card:

Gina K's Light of the Season(snowflake), frame is from Winter Mittens and the sentiment is from Holiday Greetings.  The cardstock is Gina K's Baby Blue that I sponged with white ink, let it dry; embossed the snowflakes with glitter; made the rolled felt flowers, added a few pearls to the centers and stamped the sentiment, then placed it on felt cut with nestabilities.

Now pop on over to Karen's  blog.  She will wow your socks off with her card and then when you have finished the whole hop be sure to leave a comment at Stamp TV.  Thanks for leaving a comment here, I appreciate your time!

Have a Happy Stamping day!

This is a quick read and soooo... interesting.  You wil laugh, giggle and love the ending!  Here is a card I made for this month's challenge:

CR84FN Color Challenge 42

Don't you just love CR84FN challenges?  This week's challenge was perfect for a card I needed to make for a friend's daughter who is getting married next month.  Here is CR84FN's colors for this week
My card really is pale pink - not sure why the color looks like bright pink. I'm thinking it may be the lights I've had to substitute in my light tent.  I accidentally broke one and have had to substitute what I could find.

The sketch came from Dawn McVey.  The die cuts are Papertrey Ink and the sentiment is also Papertrey Ink.  The card stock is Gina K Designs called innocent pink, black onyx and white.  The dp is Making Memories.

Thanks for looking at my card.  Have a HAPPY stamping day!
