Sketch Time at Repeat Impressions

Wendy, owner of Repeat Impressions has a Sketch Challenge for us today.  Here is her sketch

And here is my card

I used the sentiment from the Home and Hearth Series called Good Friends.

For me these challenges are always fun and look forward to seeing what you will do with the challenge.  You don't have to use Repeat Impression stamps but if you do, your name will be entered twice (2x) for a random drawing for a really nice gift certificate from Repeat Impressions.  Check out Wendy's blog, The House That Stamps Built for the complete guidelines and link your project there.

You might want to check out what these Rock Star Designers have created to inspire you.  Good luck - and I'm looking forward to seeing your projects.

Thanks for looking at my card.

Stamp-A-Faire 2017

Today is the day!

Paper --- check
tape runner  --- check
snacks ---     check
friends to stamp with --- off to pick them up at the airport now!

So excited for this year's Stamp-A-Faire by Papertrey Ink.  My friend Melissa is flying from Oakhurst, California to Bar Harbor, Maine to stamp with me -- that surely has to be a record -- 3,291 miles.  My sister from Texas (2040 miles) will be joining us on Sunday.

Here is place setting I've made for each stamper.  I found the little clip boards at Hobby Lobby -- just added the designer paper.  It can hold the schedule or card we have finished.
I'll be posting cards as I finish them.  See you around

Here are my projects

Repeat Impressions Challenge

Good Morning!  Summer is coming to a close..... - It was way too short.  At Repeat Impressions, Wendy, the owner has an "Anything Goes" challenge.  I really like these because it lets me use any technique I've tried lately or use any embellishment or even a favorite sketch.  So here is mu card.

I use the sentiment To everything there is a season... and heat embossed one in white on vellum and one in black on plain cardstock and layered with a scrap of designer paper and then placed it on a card front.

I think these challenges are always fun and look forward to seeing what you will do with them.  I've learned many new techniques and get a lot of inspiration from your creativity.  You don't have to use Repeat Impression stamps but if you do, your name will be entered twice (2x) for a random drawing for a really nice gift certificate from Repeat Impressions.  Check out Wendy's blog, The House That Stamps Built for the complete guidelines and link your project there.

Thanks for looking at my card - have a happy stamping day!

Inspiration Challege at Repeat Impressions

Today Wendy, owner of Repeat Impressions has challenged us with this:
I resisted the urge to use a fish and instead did flowers.  Here is my card
I used the flower images from the Flower Power Series and the sentiment is God gave us....

Tic Tac Toe Challenge from Repeat Impressions

Tic Tac Toe time -- Repeat Impressions wants to see what you can do for this week's challenge.

There is going to be a butterfly release at a garden spot near me this week and I just had to do the butterflies.  Here is my card.
I used a watercolor wash background in bright blue, stamp the Feel Better Soon sentiment on vellum and then made multiples of the Small Butterfly - some on vellum colored with copics and some on light cardstock colored with copics and then stacked several of them.

Repeat Impressions Weekly Challenge.

This week at Repeat Impressions Cheri, one of the Rock Stars has challenged us to make a card with a movie in mind.  - This will be a great challenge and we are excited to see what everyone does.  Here is my card.
I used the movie called  The Light Keepers staring Richard Drefuss and Blythe Danner.  It is a romantic comedy.  It is on Amazon Prime - so if you are a Prime member it's free to watch.

This involved a watercoloring technique called dabbing or touching.  I attended a class in California that taught this technique.

The sentiment is Happy Birthday and the image is called (large) Bass Harbor Light which is in Maine and it is beautiful!

For me these challenges are always fun and look forward to seeing what you will do with the challenge.  And hopefully I'll get a list of movies to watch.  You don't have to use Repeat Impression stamps but if you do, your name will be entered twice (2x) for a random drawing for a really nice gift certificate from Repeat Impressions.  Check out Wendy's blog, The House That Stamps Built for the complete guidelines and link your project there.
