Stamp A Faire 2018

Hello, well I finished the last of my projects for Papertrey Ink's Stamp A Faire 2018.  This year there were not too many projects and I finished them all the same day.  I chose not to go in person but joined on their live streaming via Facebook.

First up was paper making by Heather which was on Friday night -- some of mine are still drying, so I'll get that pic posted as soon as they are completely dry.  Later on I will use a die and make cards with this.

On Saturday morning our first project was a flower wreath by Lizzie Jones - this was by far my favorite one.  Here is my wreath - I made it in fall colors

Next up was water your flowers with Betsy Veldman - another favorite for me.  She gave very clear instructions and was fun while I learned a lot from her.

Planting your garden with Dawn Mcvey was so sweet because I was thrilled to see her doing so well after being a transplant patient.  God answered so many of her (and lots of others) prayers.  She is really a walking sweetness straight from God.
Whimsey Pop Up with Lexi Daley was next - she's so cute and funny.  I enjoyed listening to her interactions with the participants.  Did my box in fall colors.
Our last - but certainly not least was the amazing Heather Nichols with Making a Journal - Now this was right up my alley and I loved every minute of it.  Not all the supplies were included in the project bag, so I did a little improvising and chose a different fabric.
I felt like all the projects were doable and very interesting.

Pick of the Week from Repeat Impressions

Hi Stampers!  Today it's my turn to pick a few stamps and show you what I create with them.  I wanted to make a few simple cards and I wanted to use Repeat Impressions large sentiments (which I love, love, love).

First I pulled some sentiments from the series called "Stamp Sets on Cling".  Be sure to check this section out  - it has a WIDE variety of stamps and images.

Hello Cling Set                                    Thanks Cling Set

You Cling Set

Here are the cards I made -- I got a little carried away - I enjoyed using these sets and I have a few more cards ready that I did not photograph.

First card just used a scrap of paper, stamped word and heat embossing on black cardstock.   Second card used a stencil, stamped word and white heat embossed words on black cardstock.  The third card was heat embossed black ink and rainbow colors of ink.  The last card used another scrap of paper and some die cut arrows and the words were just inked.  These cards took no time at all.  The large sentiments packs a punch and it was fun adding a few extras.

Thanks for looking at my cards.  Be sure to got to Repeat Impressions and look at those Sets on Cling.

August Tic Tac Toe

Good Morning Friends!  It's a beautiful day here on the coast of Maine, but I'm thinking I saw a few leaves beginning to turn the other day!  Oh my, I'm not ready for fall!

Today Wendy, owner of Repeat Impressions gave us this tic tac toe grid to follow for our challenge

And here is my card inspired by my drive thru Acadia National Park

I used the sentiment called "You are an inspiration!" which is from the Cancer and Caregiver category - check it out - some wonderfully encouraging sentiments and images.  The fall leaves are called "falling leaves".  I used Bright Colors, watercoloring (leaves) and friendship.

Are you thinking about the changing seasons yet? This would be a good week to join us in this challenge.  You could win the $25.00 gift certificate that Wendy is offering in a random drawing. You don't have to use Repeat Impression stamps but if you do, your name will be entered twice (2x) for a random drawing for a really nice gift certificate from Repeat Impressions.
