I decided to do a quick card for this weeks Papertrey Ink Challenge.  I used the stamp sent called Natural Beauties and a simple thank you sentiment from Mat Stack1.  The challenge was to use these colors:

Repeat Impressions Sketch Challenge

Good morning - can you believe July is almost over!  My local craft store has all their Christmas stuff out --- yikes! I feel like 4th of July was yesterday!!!

Wendy, the owner of Repeat Impressions Stamps challenged us with this sketch:

I used some of the stamps from Wendy's new set called Big Boys Toys and an old favorite Clouds from Wendy's Silhouette series.

Papertrey Ink Stamp-A-Faire Challenges

Wow was this a busy week for my sweet stamping sister and me! We went to Chicago for the Craft and Hobby Show for a week and then drove back in time for the Papertrey Ink's Stamp A Faire.  In North Texas Kristin was our host.  She has a lovely home with a very large stamp room.  We had a blast!  Then my sister, Deb and I went home to play some more and played until 4:00 AM!!!

Creative Belli Christmas Card Challenge

Darsie owner of Creative Belli Challenge is challenge us to make a Christmas card!  This time last year, I had made lots of Christmas cards, so I'm running way behind on getting mine done.  Thanks to Darsie, I'll have a little start now.  It is only 22 weeks to Christmas!!!! So I'll have to make 3-4 cards a week!

Here is my card:
I used stamps from Stamps of Life --  I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Stephanie's stamps and she is so much fun!  The flower is from her set called Daisies2Garden.  I do not own very many of her stamp sets - I'm slowly building my collection.  The Merry Christmas is from Paper Trey Ink.

Repeat Impressions Designer's Choice Challenge

Good morning!! Today Makiko, one of the Design Team members from Repeat Impressions challenged us to make a project that has an Outdoors and/or Wild Life theme.  So here is my card:
I used the stamp called Fawn - a stamp I just LOVE!  This time I decided not color it, but can be colored in with a few copics.  The sentiment is called In All Things..,

Repeat Impressions Stamp of The Week - Beach Time

Oh - to be on the beach now!  It is so hot here in Texas!  Today Wendy from Repeat Impressions has a special stamp for Stamp of the Week -- it is called Beach Time.  She makes this stamp available to everyone for 50% for one week.  All you have to do is go to her blog called The House That Stamps Built and get the special code she has listed.  Then you put that code in the Special Instructions blank at Repeat Impressions Stamps.

The sentiment (not on sale) is called Wishing you joys....  It is a Christmas stamp, but I masked the bottom line that says "Happy Holidays",

I hope everyone is rested up from 4th of July activities -- to me this is a signal that the summer is coming to a close!  Auggggghhhh.. School starts soon in Texas!

Repeat Impressions Designer Choice Challenge

Happy 4th of July!  Lynette - one of the Designers from Repeat Impressions has challenged us to make a card using the colors purple and green.  I love green and my sister's favorite color is purple, so I was thinking of her as I made this card:

I used the stamp "Lupine" - the Maine State flower -- I'm not sure there are purple ones - but, I love this flower so much!  The sentiment is from Wendy's new summer release called Big Boys Toys - check the series out - there are so many good sentiments and images.

Stamp of the Week - Here's To You

Can you believe 4th of July will soon be here?!  We usually have a big celebration at our house with grandkids and friends.  We pop firecrackers, have a big cookout, with homemade ice cream and  watermelon.  Before we begin, our family takes time to pray for the men and women who serve and protect our country and pray for their families.

I used glitter for the stars, Fireworks  and for the lines above and below the sentiment, Here's to you America.
