Stamp A Faire 2015

Hello, - getting ready for my friends to arrive.  I'll be posting pics all weekend.
Here is the first challenge that challenged us to use the Fashion Sense Stamp Set

The first challenge was the Bridal Challenge and I made 2 cards for this:

The second challenge was a Pattern Challenge.  We were give 12 Card Patterns and had to pick one. I chose #8.
The next challenge was called Threads.  Laura Bassen showed us how to make threads nests and Danielle Flanders taught us to make "fake" crochet flowers.
The first afternoon challenge was called Accessories.  We were shown by Erin Lincoln how to make a necklace(working on that one) and Maile Belles taught us how to make bracelets from popsicle sticks - very interesting!
We had a Mix & Match Challenge led by Betsy Veldman and Dawn McVey.

Our 5:00 pm challenge was to make a card with Unconventional Materials.  I use little picture hangers.

We were going strong at 7:00 pm and made cards with Needles and Pins led by Amy Sheffer, Heather Nichols and Melissa Phillips.

The 9:00 pm challenge was called Runway Inspiration.  I used the colors by Laurie Wilson
And here is the card.
I still have a couple of challenges to do and will try to finish those this afternoon.

Thanks for looking at my projects.  Have a Happy Stamping Day.

Happy Day

Hello friends, Joy here - today for Classy Cards 'n Such I made a "Happy Day" card.  - It's not for a birthday - just for someone who just needs a little encouragement.
I used the Texture Shine stencil by Memory Box, colored it using ink and a Mini Ink Blending Tool.  The die is Happy Birthday Extravaganza Die by Memory Box.  The little drummer boy silhouette stamp is God Is by Sweet 'n Sassy.  Paper is French Country by Graphic 45.  Some little enamel dots were added last.

Thanks for looking at my card.  Have a happy day!

What If Wednesday at Repeat Impressions

Wendy, owner of Repeat Impressions challenged us to What If Wednesday with this sketch
And here is what I did
I used the image called Spring Blossoms and the sentiment from Quartet Compliments called Happy Moments and a text background image called Genealogy text image that was stamped on tissue paper and then attached to the designer paper.

Now it's your turn!!  We would love to see what you would do - Remember it does not have to be a card - you can make a layout or a 3-D project.  I think this sketch would be perfect for a layout page. You don't have to use Repeat Impression stamps but if you do, you name will be entered twice (2x) for a random drawing for a really nice gift certificate from Repeat Impressions.  Check out Wendy's blog, The House That Stamps Built for the complete guidelines and link your project there.

Smile....

Hi friends, Joy here today showing you a card I made for this week's challenge using supplies from Classy Cards 'n Such.  The challenge was to use this photo and make something that was related to "back to school".
Here is my card
I used the image from God Is by Sweet 'n Sassy.  The letters were popped up using Small Joy Foam Pads.  The teal/blue base is from Graphic 45's French Country.  See the rounded corners?  I used my Envelope Punch Board by We R Memory Keepers.  It stays out on my desk and is so much easier to reach for than digging around for my corner rounder.   The sentiment "smile" is from JustRite and I was further challenged by a friend to put sentiments inside my cards and so I finished it out with this.
We would love to see what you would do with this challenge.  Take a look at the guidelines on Beverly's blog, Classy Cards 'n Such, make a project and link it there or here.

What If Wednesdays at Repeat Impressions

Hello friends!  Today Wendy, owner of Repeat Impressions asked Cheri to issue a challenge for us and Cheri wants us to make a project entitled Sun, Sand and Surf.  Love, love, love this challenge.  Here is my card
The image is Sandcastle and the sentiment is Happy Summer with the Small Starfish.

We would love to see what you would do - Remember it does not have to be a card - you can make a layout or a 3-D project.  You don't have to use Repeat Impression stamps but if you do, you name will be entered twice (2x) for a random drawing for a really nice gift certificate from Repeat Impressions.  Check out Wendy's blog, The House That Stamps Built for the complete guidelines and link your project there.

The Hand That Bears

Good Morning friends.  Today the Classy Cards 'n Such Challenge is to use this photo for inspiration.  Isn't this the sweet photo!

Here is the card I made:
Two things just popped out to me - the texture of the shrubs and the soft colors of the bunny.  He is just adorable!  I used the khaki and white in his fur and the green shrubbery as inspiration.  The embossing folder is one of the fabulous ones from Anna Griffin called Juliet Damask.  Anna Griffin folders are amazing.  I've never been able to get really outstanding embossing except from her folders.  Just try one - you will be so surprised!  The sentiment is from Sweet 'n Sassy called God Is.  The sentiments in this set are a soft delicate handwriting.  Because the embossing is so detailed, I used some 1/2 inch Scor-tape to adhere it to a piece of white card stock on top of the Khaki.

This is a fun challenge - Take a look at the guidelines on Beverly's blog, Classy Cards 'n Such, make a project and link it there or here.  I look forward to seeing how this sweet picture inspires you.

Thanks for looking at my card.  Have  happy stamping day.

Repeat Impressions Color Challenge

Hello friends! Today Repeat Impressions's weekly challenge is a color challenge.  Here are the colors:

To me these colors say -- party!!  So here's what I came up with:
I used the Large jar image from the Contain Yourself Series and filled it with Celebration Bursts and several Small Balloon Silhouettes that I tied up with some twine.  The sentiment is the "Hurray" part of a stamp called Hurray for you.

I Thank You

Good Morning!  Joy here with a Thank You card for a sweet friend who watched over my house while I was on vacation.  This will be for the Classy Cards 'n Such Embossing Folder Challenge.

The embossing folder is from Darice called Cherry Blossom.  On top of that I used a die cut from Spellbinders called Decorative Labels Eight using some Gold Mirricard and the "I Thank You" is from Just the Right Words by JustRite.  This is a make your own sentiment stamp set of 32 words.  It is so easy to line up and you can make tons of sentiments to match your cards.  All these can be found on the Classy Cards 'n Such online store.

Now it's your turn, give this challenge  try - just add an embossing folder.  Take a look at the guidelines posted on Beverly's blog, Classy Cards 'n Such and link your project there.

Thanks for looking at my card - have a Happy Stamping Day!
