Repeat Impressions Sketch for November 30th

Last day in November - can you believe Christmas is just around the corner!  Seems like I just got thru with Fourth of July!  I was in Hobby Lobby yesterday and they are one new isle dedicated to new Summer Patio stuff!  HEAVENS!  I haven't finished my Christmas cards!  Oh, well, "time marches one"!

Here is the sketch Wendy gave us this week:
and here is my card:
I love this Santa image!  It is called Santa's Friend.  He is absolutely adorable.  I used a few Copic markers and some Liquid Applique that puffs up when heated.  The sentiment is here.

Why don't you make a card using this sketch?  We would love to see what you can do -- we get so much inspiration from our readers.  You can post it on Wendy's blog -- right here.  There will be a randomly chosen winner who will get a nice gift certificate! -- That would come in handy for Christmas!  Here are some ideas from the Design Team.
Thanks for looking at my card -- have a HAPPY stamping day!

Repeat Impression's Kendra's Designer Case Challenge

This week Kendra one of the Repeat Impression's Design Team Members challenged us to make a Christmas project that uses a snowflake.  Sooo...wow are the possibilities unlimited!! I made two -- and before Spring comes again, I'll be using more of Repeat Impressions Snow flakes.  Here are two I made:
This one used the Snowflake (Wendy has two sizes - this is the small one) and the Got Snow? sentiment -- don't you just love that sentiment!  Here in Texas, we don't get much snow, but we still have dreams of a white Christmas.

And because I love the little Penguins so much here is another one:

Isn't that the sweetest small Penguin (comes in 2 sizes)!  I put him in the Globe with a small Pine tree (comes in 2 sizes) and a Snowflake (comes in two sizes) and some white felt.

Here is a list of the Rock Stars and their projects.  Why don't you join us in this challenge?  Make a Christmas project with a snowflake(s) and post it to the House That Stamps Built blog and you could be the random winner of a really nice gift certificate from Wendy!

Blessings!  Have a Happy Stamping Day!

Creative Belli Challenge: Leaves, Cornucopia, Thanksgiving

What a great challenge we are looking at this week from Creative Belli.  Remember the spirit of the challenge is to use something you already have -- maybe something you have forgotten about - paper, embelli, or even a forgotten tool with the idea of using a Fall, Thanksgiving, Cornucopia type theme.   We would like to see what you can do!  Just post your card to the Creative Belli Blog.

Here is my card:

Repeat Impression's STOW - Earth Ornament

One of the sweetest blessings I have is being able to be on the Design Team for Repeat Impressions.  Wendy has the most wonderful stamps and we get to play with them!  For this week Wendy choose the stamp Earth Ornament.  Remember the stamp of the week is 50% off this week.  All you have to do is pop over to Wendy's blog, get the code and put that in the special instructions blank when you order.

Here is my card:
The Earth Ornament has been centered on a piece of dp on which  I highlighted the star design (it centered really well - quite accidentally) and the sentiment , Joy to the World centered on a sentiment strip.

Now take a look at what the other Rock Stars created to inspire you.

Stamp TV Alumni Inspirational Hop

If you came from Giovana's  blog, you are at the right spot. Wasn't her card beautiful! So that you don't miss a single one of the inspirational projects, you can start at Stamp TV.  Carolina at Stamp TV challenged us with this pic:
Here is my first card:

Stamp sets were:  Winter Friends (holly, bird), Holiday Cheer (ornament, snowflake, stocking) and Blessed is the Season (joy) - I did some masking to get just the joy to show.  Used various circle punches and scraps of Christmas papers.

Have you ever started on a card with great inspiration and then your card/project ends up NOTHING like your inspiration?  Well, this is one of those cards.  It turned out nothing like I wanted it to.  LOL!  I had fun anyway and I got one more Christmas card made!  Here is my card:

Gina K's Light of the Season(snowflake), frame is from Winter Mittens and the sentiment is from Holiday Greetings.  The cardstock is Gina K's Baby Blue that I sponged with white ink, let it dry; embossed the snowflakes with glitter; made the rolled felt flowers, added a few pearls to the centers and stamped the sentiment, then placed it on felt cut with nestabilities.

Now pop on over to Karen's  blog.  She will wow your socks off with her card and then when you have finished the whole hop be sure to leave a comment at Stamp TV.  Thanks for leaving a comment here, I appreciate your time!

Have a Happy Stamping day!

This month at Scrapbitzcopics Suzanne gave us this book to read:
This is a quick read and soooo... interesting.  You wil laugh, giggle and love the ending!  Here is a card I made for this month's challenge:

The dog's name is Sandy and liked it when Emily or her sister would come home.  I ut the fall tree in because Emily takes on the challenge of running the New York City marathon which always takes place in November.

This is a fun, fun Book Club!  Suzanne recommends a book and if we want, we make a project for it and have a little chat-party at the end of the month.  Suzanne really knows her books and has pick some great books.
Here is the link.  Book Endz.

Thanks for looking at my project.

Repeat Impression's Designer Choice Challenge

Every two weeks or so Wendy at Repeat Impressions lets each Design Team Member design a challenge; the rest of us meet that challenge and then we challenge you to make a card and post it on Wendy's blog.  She will pick a random participant to win a gift certificate!  Actually, you can double your winnings by using your certificate for buying Wendy's Stamp of the Week which she has at 50% off!

So this week Miriam challenged us to make a Fall Waterfall or  a Flip card.  These are so much fun to make!  Wendy makes it sooooo easy! She has the kits already made up!  These are pre-cut, pre-scored FLIP Spines to use in creating one of our FLIP cards. Saves you the trouble of measuring, cutting, and scoring the spines yourself. Great when you want to create your own color combinations. Available in 5 different colors: Confetti Yellow, Confetti Blue Moon, White, Poppy (OUT OF STOCK), and Sunset. These are all 80lb. cover weight stocks. Each individual color is sold in a 10 pack.

Here is mine:

Need some inspiration?  Here is the Design Team -- check out their projects:

Now it's your turn - join us in making a waterfall card then post it on Wendy's blog and you could win your choice of stamps!

Creative Belli Challenge Paper Pierrrrrrcing!

Hey guys, I hope you are having a great day!  I promise, I promise, I promise this will be my last fall card - (I think)!!  We were challenged this week to use paper pierrrcing!  For my card I want to emphasize a thankful heart.  So I drew attention by underlining the word with the pierrrrrcing.  The sentiment is from Repeat Impressions.  Check them out, they have some beautiful stamps!

Here are projects the other design team members created.  Check them out for inspiration then upload yours to the Creative Belli blog.  We want to see what you do!

CR84FN Color Challenge 42

Don't you just love CR84FN challenges?  This week's challenge was perfect for a card I needed to make for a friend's daughter who is getting married next month.  Here is CR84FN's colors for this week
My card really is pale pink - not sure why the color looks like bright pink. I'm thinking it may be the lights I've had to substitute in my light tent.  I accidentally broke one and have had to substitute what I could find.

The sketch came from Dawn McVey.  The die cuts are Papertrey Ink and the sentiment is also Papertrey Ink.  The card stock is Gina K Designs called innocent pink, black onyx and white.  The dp is Making Memories.

Thanks for looking at my card.  Have a HAPPY stamping day!
