You're So Sweet

Hi, Joy today showing you a card I made for the new challenge at Classy Cards 'n Such.  Our challenge was to use something new and add some bling or glitter - that's an easy one for me.  I like to add bling and glitter to EVERYTHING!

For my new, it was Our Daily Bread's Pennant Swag 2 stamp set.    I glittered the edges of a rectangle and a small strip of some Graphic 45's By the Sea with Sparkle & Sprinkle's Crystal Ice.  Using the Blueprints 13 die,  I cut a card base from some blue paper from Graphic 45's Botanical Tea  and stamped the pennant swag and sentiment from Hugs & Kisses by JustRite, then  added the little heart stamp from Hugs & Kisses.  Lastly I added 3 Silver Rhinestones by Want to Scrap.  These are on sale at an incredible price - check them out at the Classy Cards 'n Such on line store.

We such would enjoy seeing what you create.  Be sure to join in the fun at Classy Cards 'n Such.  Thanks for looking at my card.  Have a HAPPY stamping day.

Repeat Impressions Weekly Challenge

Hello friends, today Wendy, owner of Repeat Impressions challenged us to an inspiration photo.  You can go to the blog, The House That Stamps Built and see the photo and then join our challenge.

Here is my card.
First thing I did was to stamp the Ruffled Heart image twice, once on white card stock and once on red.  I fussy cut out just the red heart and heat embossed with white embossing powder the Every Day is...  sentiment.  Then I fussy cut the white card stock ruffled valentine and used a little cool gray to color it.   The red heart was embossed with a dotted swiss folder, popped up on the white heart and then that was popped up on more red card stock.

Here is the list of designers that made something to inspire you.  Check them out, then make a card and link it on the Repeat Impression's blog. -  You could be the winner of a nice gift certificate.
Thanks for looking at my card - can't wait to see what you do with the inspiration photo!

Thinking of You

Good morning, Joy here today.  This is a card that I made with supplies from Classy Cards 'n Such to meet this week's challenge.
The paper is from a 6.5 x 6.5 pad from KaiserCraft called Storyteller.  The tiny red print is from KaiserCraft's 6.5 x 6.5 pad called Key to My Heart.  The little birds are from a fabulous stamp set from Sparkle 'n Sprinkle called Bird Song and the sentiment is from JustRite's Hugs & Kisses.  I used Blueprints 4 to cut the red card stock base and Blueprints 13 for the circle, tag and star.  It was easy to do a little fussy cutting around the birds and tucked them in the cut out circle.

I challenged my sister to join me in this week to make a card and post it on the Classy Card 'n Such blog.  Why don't you join us and perhaps ask a friend to do the same?  Thanks for looking at my card.  Have a happy stamping day!

It's Cold Outside.....

Hello, Joy here today for Classy Cards 'n Such.  With much of the country feeling like a deep freeze, I couldn't help but want to make a snow card for this week's challenge.   The challenge was to use polka dots with a little pink.

This gorgeous paper is from Bo Bunny and called Candy Cane Lane.  It's a Christmas 6x6 pad, but most of the papers can be used for projects other than Christmas.  The sentiment is from Impression Obsession and called Twinkles.  The snowflake was popped up using Small Joy Foam Pads.  I used 3 of the Silver Rock Candy Queen & Co.  These were my last ones, so I got to order more.  They are really very pretty.

Thanks for looking at my card - stay warm!

You Make Me Smile

Hi Joy here today with a FUN, FUN card made with supplies from Classy Cards 'n Such.  Can I say fun again?  Here it is:
I embossed a piece of kraft card stock with an Anna Griffin Embossing Folder called Smitten because of all the fun images on it. (roses, hearts, stars, swirls and flourishes).  It's a fun folder to use for any occasion.  I then used several different colors of Tim Holtz Distress Ink stains to "splat" on a piece of cream colored card stock.  I just put the paper on my craft sheet and splatted away!  It was so much fun! To give them a little sparkle I added a little perfect pearls with a small brush.  Next I took a sentiment from Impression Obsession's Anytime Sentiments and stamped in the lower right corner.  I added a few tiny dots with some  Viva Decor Pearl Pens.  Lastly I rounded the corners with my Envelope Punch Board, since it stays out on my desk and is easier than digging for a corner rounder.  The sentiment panel was popped up using some of the large Joy Foam Pads.

Thanks for looking at my card - hope you give it a try - it's fun!  Have a Happy stamping day!

Warm Thoughts

Good Morning.  Do you have snow yet?  In my part of Texas we don't often get snow and so far not a flake here.  That didn't stop me from making a snowflake card with supplies from the on line  Classy Cards 'n Such store.

We are to use the color photo to give us some inspiration and I love the color teal/sea foam with khaki.  First I took the little emblem from Hugs & Kisses by JustRite to use as a snowflake and the tiny snowflake and the snowman from Twinkles by Impression Obsession.  The "sending you" sentiment is from Anytime Sentiments by Impression Obsession.  These were all heat embossed with White Detail Embossing Powder by Sparkle 'n Sprinkle.  The khaki cardstock and colored vellum arrow were die cut with My Favorite Thing's Blueprints 13.  I popped up the vellum arrow with a Small Joy Foam Pad and added the little Silver Rock Candy to a few of the centers.

Why not join in the fun of our challenge.  Just go to the Classy Cards 'n Such Blog, see the details and get some great inspiration from the Design team.  There is a great gift for the winner.

Thanks for looking at my card.  Have a happy stamping day.
