Sketch Challenge at Repeat Impressions

Good Morning friends!  Today it's Sketch Challenge time at Repeat Impressions.  Here is the sketch we need to follow.

And here is my card.

I used the image called Prescription and colored it with copics.

We would love to see what you would do with this challenge because this week --- it will be easy-peazy!

You don't have to use Repeat Impression stamps but if you do, your name will be entered twice (2x) for a random drawing for a really nice gift certificate from Repeat Impressions.  Check out Wendy's blog, The House That Stamps Built for the complete guidelines and link your project there.

You might want to check out what these Rock Star Designers have created to inspire you.  Good luck - and I'm looking forward to seeing your projects.
Thank you for looking at my card.

January's Anything Goes at Repeat Impressions

Hello friends!  Today Wendy, owner of Repeat Impressions has an Anything Goes Challenge for us.  At Christmas a friend gave me a giant box of victorian and vintage paper ephemera.  I am giddy over the box and will be using pieces for my card challenges.  This is my card for this week's challenge.
I used some striped vellum for the background and stamped Repeat Impression's Ruffled Heart Border as the base and added some gold elements and the vintage bouquet of flowers.  The love is die cut from gold card stock.

We would love to see what you would do with this challenge because this week --- Anything Goes!

Tic Tac Toe Time at Repeat Impressions

Hi - today's posting is a little late -- but here goes.  Wendy, owner of Repeat Impressions gave us this Tic Tac Toe for this weeks challenge.

And here is my card:

I cut out the Large Snowflake and Small Snowflakes plus a few Snowflakes from the Penguin Series with my Circut Maker and Got Snow sentiment.  My Tic Tac Toe is Snowflakes, pearls and silver with glitter and embossing thrown in.

I thought about some of my friends in the Northeast who were slammed with snow this past week.  Hope they are seeing some sunshine.

We would love to see what you would do with this challenge.

Project of the Week for Repeat Impressions

Good Morning friends!  There's not a better way to begin the New Year than endeavoring to accomplish some New Year's resolutions!  One of mine is to sent out thank you cards.  With the help of a few Repeat Impressions stamps and this technique I'll be able to get that done pretty quick.

Here are the supplies you will need:

1. Background stamp - I've used Flower Power Background
2.  Sentiment stamps - I've used Thanks a Bunch and Hello
3.  Stamp positioner - I used a Misti
4.  Ink
5. Coloring Medium - here I used Copics

The stamped background was quickly colored - took me about 20 minutes to do both these.
The images were sliced about 1/3 of the way and placed on 4.25 x 5.5 cards

Small borders in black and designer paper were added.
Sentiments were stamped using my Misti and some enamel dots and clear drops were added so in less than 30 minutes I had 4 cards ready to go.

Thanks for looking at my Project of the Week.

Repeat Impressions - Spread Your Wings

Good Morning Stamping friends!  Today we have been challenged by Laurie, one of the Repeat Impressions Rock Stars to make a project that has "wings" in it.

Wendy, owner of Repeat Impressions, has many pretty butterflies so that's what I wanted to use.  Here is my card:
The background is watercolored and I stamped and heat embossed two Small Butterflies and fussy cut them out.  I also heat embossed the Let Your Dreams.... sentiment on a piece of vellum and wrapped it around the card.

Ok, let's begin the new year -- We would love to see what you would do with this challenge.  Spread your wings and try something new!

You don't have to use Repeat Impression stamps but if you do, your name will be entered twice (2x) for a random drawing for a really nice gift certificate from Repeat Impressions.  Check out Wendy's blog, The House That Stamps Built for the complete guidelines and link your project there.
