Falling for you........

Today for the  Repeat Impressions Challenge, Laurie, one of the Rock Star Designers gave us the challenge to make a card with leaves, fall or autumn themed.  I saw a technique a few weeks ago I wanted to try.  So here is my card.  Actually this technique ends up with two cards.

I used two sentiments Autumn's splendor.... which is from a Flip Set called Autumn Flip set but centered perfectly in the middle of the heart and For the Beauty of.....  The images are from a cool stamp called Foliage Negative (which I selectively inked up), Oak Leaf and Falling Leaves.  On one card I used an embossing folder and then I added a few sequins to each card.

This was a fun challenge for me because I got to use a new technique.  You don't have to use Repeat Impression stamps but if you do, your name will be entered twice (2x) for a random drawing for a really nice gift certificate from Repeat Impressions.  Check out Wendy's blog, The House That Stamps Built for the complete guidelines and link your project there.

You might want to check out what these Rock Star Designers have created to inspire you.  Good luck - and I'm looking forward to seeing your projects.

Thanks for looking at my card.

Love how you have gotten two cards out of one image - smart thinking. The wreath is colored so beautifully.

This is very clever. Thanks for sharing. If you don't mind, I might use this technique at my stamp club. I wonder if you have a Pinterest board. I looked at many of your other cards and am very inspired. I would subscribe to your blog but I don't see a way to do that.
