Good Morning! I hope Hurricane Sandy left you alone and just passed right by you. We have had a good laugh in our family because my husband's name is Sandy.
Today Wendy at Repeat Impressions gave us this sketch to follow as a challenge.
And here is my card:
I used the stamps Candy Cane Penguin and Snow Much Fun. I used some glitter on a frame and colored the sweet penguin with Copics.
It would be "snow" much fun if you would join us in this sketch. Just make a project using Wendy's sketch, link it on her The House That Stamps Built Blog and you could be the randomly chosen name to received a nice gift certificate from Repeat Impressions.
Check out the Design Team member's cards for some great inspiration.

Repeat Impression Designer's Choic Challenge
Today it's Joyce's turn as a member of the Repeat Impressions Design Team to offer up a challenge. She asked us to make a project that's not a card. I love 3-D projects! So this challenge was easy! I decided to make place cards for my grandchildren for Thanksgiving.
Here they are:
I used the Bear Banner and Cat Banner. I stamped them on card stock, fussy cut the little heads with an exacto knife, folded and then colored them with copics. I added the letters and fall leaf from die cuts. These were so easy and I know the kids will love them.
We would love to see what you can do with this challenge! Just make a project - not a card, link it on Wendy's The House That Stamps Built blog and you could be the randomly chosen winner of a nice Repeat Impression gift certificate.
Here is the list of Repeat Impressions Rock Stars who have made projects - stop by their blog and leave a little feedback for them --

and here is my card:
I used Melanie Muenchinger's set called Pretty Patterns. This set has some wonderful images. The sentiment was from Hello Sunshine. I needed a birthday card for one of my son-in-laws and Melanie's set was perfect to make a masculine card.
Now you can pop on over to Kay's blog and see what she created. Remember to leave a comment as you hop along because on Tuesday morning (October 30), Stamp TV will randomly choose one of the comments from all the blogs and that person will receive a huge grab bag of fabulous Gina K. Designs Stamps!

Creative Belli Challenge - Military or Veteran
Hi - Darsie, owner of the Creative Belli Challenge issued the challenge to make a Military or Veteran themed project. I'm so glad to know that Darsie thinks those who serve in our military are very important. I kinda went overboard with my cards because these will be going to the Cards for Soldiers program. Here is a little about the program:
Cards for Soldiers was started in January 2006 by the a group of friends and scrapbookers on a scrapbooking messageboard to support our troops deployed to the Middle East. Now a one woman owned Non-Profit Corporation the mission is to send handmade, blank cards to deployed units for the soldiers to use to write to family and friends. It's been a big hit with the soldiers! Please join in this wonderful program to support the troops! Check out the details, schedule and address on the Cards for Soldiers blog. Thank you for encouraging those who put their lives on the line on a daily basis.
So here are my cards:
Here is the list of Designers who have made cards for this challenge.
Now we want you to show us a project you can make using a veteran or a military theme, link it on the Creative Belli Blog. We would love to see what you can do!

Our Daily Bread Design's Challenge
This week at Our Daily Bread Designs Chris challenged us to make a "musical element" project. I love the fact Chris gave us two weeks to meet this challenge. And I LOVE that ODBD gives out a gift certificate to a random winner! I've got a long list of stamps on a wish list. I'm going to try to do another card tomorrow.
The phrase on this one means a lot to me. In the Old Testament "grace" is often used in terms of it being an ornament, or adornment or something to display. It reminds me that I wear a necklace to accent a blouse or dress -- and God's grace is like that also. I want others to see how it compliments (adorns)the other aspects of Christ in my life.
The stamp is from Grow in Grace. This was a super easy card.
