One Layer Challenge

Good Morning!  Today for the Repeat Impressions challenge, it's Donna's turn to issue the challenge and she wants us to make a One Layer card.  That's a great challenge!  I put my creative mojo to work on this one.  -- I like layers, so this was a challenge for me!  But here is my card featuring one of my favorite images that I decided to watercolor called Nubble Light sm.

Because I didn't want to put the sentiment on the front I put the sentiment called Sending Smiles.... inside.  This sentiment is from the Big Boys Toys series
Wanna join us in this challenge? --  you could win the $25.00 gift certificate that Wendy is offering in a random drawing. You don't have to use Repeat Impression stamps but if you do, your name will be entered twice (2x) for a random drawing for a really nice gift certificate from Repeat Impressions.
Check out Wendy's blog, The House That Stamps Built for the complete guidelines and link your project there.

You might want to check out what these Rock Star Designers have created to inspire you.  Good luck - and I'm looking forward to seeing your projects.
Thank you for looking at my card.

Love your beautiful scene you created for the one layer challenge. I too struggle with one layer, always needs "more". Great job on this challenge.

I'm with you on liking layers so this was a challenge for me as well! But I like trying things outside my comfort zone - it's good to stretch yourself! I love, love, love the beautiful card you created -- not only is it a pretty scene, but you made it a fun shape too!

What a beautiful card, Joy! I love the coloring on the lighthouse and the sentiment is perfect. Not one I would have thought of using!
