Happy Heart Birthday

It's Joy this morning with some detail of the Classy Cards 'n Such challenge for this week.  Today were were to use this picture as inspiration. - And as an option to add an apple.

I really like the patterns and colors in the photo. So I went thru my growing stack of paper scraps and found some cute pattern papers.   The Happy Birthday Extravaganza sentiment is from Memory Box.  The darker pink paper is Bo Bunny's Candy Cane Lane, and some of the prints are from Simple Stories Vintage Bliss.  The hearts were cut using the heart die in Blueprints 4 and the banner is from Blueprints 13 by My Favorite Things.  The hearts are popped up using Small Joy Foam Pads.

Why don't you give this challenge a try - you could win a nice prize from the Classy Cards 'n Such one line store!

Repeat Impression's Project of the Week

Good morning!  Wendy, owner of Repeat Impressions has some new BIG sentiment stamps - that I'm crazy about and wanted to show you one quick way to use them as the centerpiece for a card.

First stamp one of the large greetings towards the center of the card and a smaller one near the bottom right.  I used the Hello set.
Then I used a black Spica Glitter Pen to make a line below and above the hello.  I used a t-square ruler to make sure the line was straight.
The large sentiment was then masked off.
Then the Small Butterfly from the Summer series and the Fern were stamped.
and the masked was removed
The last step was to color the images with a few copic markers, add a few dots and some sequins then put on card stock.

This was really a quick process!  Get some of the large sentiments and see what you can do.  I know you will have as much fun as I did!

Poppy Thanks

Good morning friends!  I ordered some new paper from the Classy Cards 'n Such on line store and could hardly wait to break it open!  The first one I opened was Heartfelt Creations's Blazing Poppy. This 12x12 pad is full of gorgeous paper and tags (I'm a real sucker for the tags).

Here is my first card
I used the embossing folder called Smitten by Anna Griffin on some poppy colored paper from the 6x6 pad by Graphic 45 called Home Sweet Home, cut out one of the tags from the Heartfelt Creations 12x12 Blazing Poppy pad.  The Thanks  is from Impression Obsession Greeting Set.  The twine is Doddle Bug - that's on sale right now in the Classy Cards 'n Such on line store.  I covered the poppies and the thanks with some Wink of Stella.

Have a Happy stamping day!

What would you do?  Now it's your turn!!  We would love to see what you would do - Remember it does not have to be a card - you can make a layout or a 3-D project.  Just use a fall/autumn theme.   You don't have to use Repeat Impression stamps but if you do, you name will be entered twice (2x) for a random drawing for a really nice gift certificate from Repeat Impressions.  Check out Wendy's blog, The House That Stamps Built for the complete guidelines and link your project there.

Autumn Love

Good Morning!  Joy here today showing you a card made with supplies from the on-line Classy Cards 'n Such store.  Weddings are so much fun! Seeing couples who love each other and want to spend the rest of their lives with each other is so endearing.

Here is a Wedding card I made for the Classy Cards 'n Such challenge for this week.  We were to use this picture as inspiration and think Autumn Wedding.
I picked out the colors of peach, green, yellow and red and the love sentiment.
I used 4 embossing folders Aviary from Anna Griffin, Dots from Crafts Too,    Cherry Blossom by Darice and Smitten by Anna Griffin.  These were cut into strips and put on a page die cut from Blueprints 4 by My Favorite Things.  The hearts are from the same die set and placed onto a scroll die cut called Amira Flourish by Memory Box.  The Love sentiment is from the JustRite Stamp Set called Hope and Love Vintage Labels Eight and Nine.  The hearts are popped up just a little with Small Joy Foam Pads.

Why don't you join in the challenge with us?  We would love to see what you would do with an Autumn Wedding theme with the picture as inspiration!  Just go to Classy Cards 'n Such Blogspot.com and look at the details for the challenge.  Then link your project there or here.  You could be the winner of a nice prize!

Celebrate

Good morning, Joy here posting a card made with supplies from  the Classy Cards 'n Such on line store.
First was to emboss a piece of white card stock with an embossing folder called Juliet Damask by Anna Griffin.   Then I added some designer paper from the 6x6 paper pack called Vintage Bliss by Simple Stories.  The celebrate word was die cut, then Wink of Stella added and glossy accents on top of that for some extra shine.   The butterfly stamp is from Majestic Monarchs and it was die cut using the Majestic Monarch die both from Sweet 'n Sassy and covered with Wink of Stella.  The corners were rounded using the corner rounder of the Envelope Punch Board.

I hope your day is one to celebrate - every day we should celebrate something!

Good Morning! Wendy, owner of Repeat Impressions aways comes up with the most interesting challenges!  Here are the colors.
I immediately thought of the new Brusho Colors that she has in the online store.  I have to say once I got into them,  they are fun.
The  bold "happy" sentiment is perfect with the bold colors.  The Large butterfly is from the Summer Series and was popped up with some foam.

Now it's your turn!!  We would love to see what you would do - Remember it does not have to be a card - you can make a layout or a 3-D project.  Just use these colors.  You don't have to use Repeat Impression stamps but if you do, you name will be entered twice (2x) for a random drawing for a really nice gift certificate from Repeat Impressions.  Check out Wendy's blog, The House That Stamps Built for the complete guidelines and link your project there.

We had a Mix & Match Challenge led by Betsy Veldman and Dawn McVey.

Our 5:00 pm challenge was to make a card with Unconventional Materials.  I use little picture hangers.

We were going strong at 7:00 pm and made cards with Needles and Pins led by Amy Sheffer, Heather Nichols and Melissa Phillips.

The 9:00 pm challenge was called Runway Inspiration.  I used the colors by Laurie Wilson
And here is the card.
I still have a couple of challenges to do and will try to finish those this afternoon.

Smile....

Hi friends, Joy here today showing you a card I made for this week's challenge using supplies from Classy Cards 'n Such.  The challenge was to use this photo and make something that was related to "back to school".
Here is my card
I used the image from God Is by Sweet 'n Sassy.  The letters were popped up using Small Joy Foam Pads.  The teal/blue base is from Graphic 45's French Country.  See the rounded corners?  I used my Envelope Punch Board by We R Memory Keepers.  It stays out on my desk and is so much easier to reach for than digging around for my corner rounder.   The sentiment "smile" is from JustRite and I was further challenged by a friend to put sentiments inside my cards and so I finished it out with this.
We would love to see what you would do with this challenge.  Take a look at the guidelines on Beverly's blog, Classy Cards 'n Such, make a project and link it there or here.

The Hand That Bears

Good Morning friends.  Today the Classy Cards 'n Such Challenge is to use this photo for inspiration.  Isn't this the sweet photo!

Here is the card I made:
Two things just popped out to me - the texture of the shrubs and the soft colors of the bunny.  He is just adorable!  I used the khaki and white in his fur and the green shrubbery as inspiration.  The embossing folder is one of the fabulous ones from Anna Griffin called Juliet Damask.  Anna Griffin folders are amazing.  I've never been able to get really outstanding embossing except from her folders.  Just try one - you will be so surprised!  The sentiment is from Sweet 'n Sassy called God Is.  The sentiments in this set are a soft delicate handwriting.  Because the embossing is so detailed, I used some 1/2 inch Scor-tape to adhere it to a piece of white card stock on top of the Khaki.

This is a fun challenge - Take a look at the guidelines on Beverly's blog, Classy Cards 'n Such, make a project and link it there or here.  I look forward to seeing how this sweet picture inspires you.

Thanks for looking at my card.  Have  happy stamping day.

We would love to see what you would do - Remember it does not have to be a card - you can make a layout or a 3-D project.  You don't have to use Repeat Impression stamps but if you do, you name will be entered twice (2x) for a random drawing for a really nice gift certificate from Repeat Impressions.  Check out Wendy's blog, The House That Stamps Built for the complete guidelines and link your project there.

I Thank You

Good Morning!  Joy here with a Thank You card for a sweet friend who watched over my house while I was on vacation.  This will be for the Classy Cards 'n Such Embossing Folder Challenge.

The embossing folder is from Darice called Cherry Blossom.  On top of that I used a die cut from Spellbinders called Decorative Labels Eight using some Gold Mirricard and the "I Thank You" is from Just the Right Words by JustRite.  This is a make your own sentiment stamp set of 32 words.  It is so easy to line up and you can make tons of sentiments to match your cards.  All these can be found on the Classy Cards 'n Such online store.

Now it's your turn, give this challenge  try - just add an embossing folder.  Take a look at the guidelines posted on Beverly's blog, Classy Cards 'n Such and link your project there.

Thanks for looking at my card - have a Happy Stamping Day!
