The colors for CR84FN's Color Challenge this week are
Plum, light plum and kraft -- aren't they wonderful? Plum is my sister's favorite color so as I made this card I thought about her. She is my best friend -- and she totally understands my obsession with cards and scrapbooking!
This would be a great challenge to join -- just go to CR84FN Challenge Blog and link your card there. It is a blog I check everyday -- and this week will be especially fun for me.
Here is my card:
The stamp is from Papertrey Ink and is on plum vellum, the paper is from Gina K.
Thanks for looking at my card --- have a HAPPY stamping day.

If you are looking for the Creative Belli Challenge, scroll down one. Thanks!
Today Michele from Repeat Impressions challenged us to use sewing in our card - either faux or real. I love my sewing machine, so this was a great challenge for me. I stitched the circle to the MS doily, zig-zag stitch to the background paper, and stitched the crumbled ribbon to the dp.
Here is my card:

Creative Belli Challenge from the Tool Shed
Our challenge this week from Creative Belli Challenge was to use old forgotten "tools". Examples of a forgotten tool might be a button maker, Cropadile, eyelet setter, tag maker, crimper, etc... This will be fun to see what everyone brings out!
I used a Memory Makers Tag Maker tool -- Boy, did I have to dust it off! I even had to DIG for the metal tags - but I found a few other things I want to use. I hope you have as much fun as I did. Tell us what you found and then link your project to the Creative Belli Challenge. We'd love to see it!
Here is my card:
Here are the other team members -- check out their projects for some inspiration!
Thank you and have a HAPPY stamping day!

Repeat Impressions Stamp of the Week - Stork
It is Monday - that means Repeat Impressions is giving you an opportunity to get a stamp at 50% off -- this week it is 4318-K Stork. I was excited about this stamp because I have a new grand daughter and made this card with her in mind. Here is my card:
I used scraps of paper and paper from the girls' paperie. I've used some netting - one of my new favorites. The stamp is "Happy New Baby". I did some masking to get the words separated.
Here are some of the other Design Team members projects.

Repeat Impressions Sketch for May 18
Wendy at Repeat Impressions put together such a fantastic sketch -- I made two cards. -- One feminine and one masculine. This will be a sketch I will be using over and over again. Here is the sketch:
And here are my cards
And here are my cards
The sentiment is "Wishing You Happiness". These sketches are so much fun! Why don't you join in showing us what you can do with this sketch? At the end of the challenge Wendy will draw a random name and that person will win a gift certificate -- so you can choose stamps you want! You do not have to use Repeat Impressions stamps -- but if you do have them we'd like to see what you can do.
Here are some of the Repeat Impression Designers - check out what they did and leave them a little comment.

Don't you just love round cards! This is a great sketch to go with the round design. I made the card in celebration of my newest grandchild, a little girl named Cora. She is 5 weeks old now and a wonderfully calm baby.

Repeat Impression's Designer Case Challenge
Today is the Designer's Case Challenge at Repeat Impressions. Every two week one of the Design Team Members offers a challenge - and this week Harriett's challenge was paper piecing - which I love to do. I did this one pretty simple. The stamp was Comfy Chair and the sentiment is Thank You for a Being a Friend. I love this sentiment. It is one of my favorites and I use it often
Now we would like to see what you can do with this challenge. Make a card and link it to The House That Stamps Built blog. Wendy will chose a random winner and you could win your choice of stamps! You don't have to use Repeat Impressions stamps (although, we would love to see them)
Here are members of the Design Team that made cards for your inspiration.

STOW - Bottom's Up
It's Monday! I love Monday's -- because I always feel like it is a new beginning -- started projects get new attention from me. Usually Sunday's are wonderful family time after church. My daughters, son-in-laws and grandchildren all were in church yesterday. After church we had a quiet afternoon.
Remember since it is Monday, it is time for a new Stamp of the Week. This is a wonderful opportunity to add to your stamp stash economically! You can go to Wendy's blog - The House That Stamps Built and get the discount code. Then when you order your stamp, put that code in the special instructions box -- and then wait for the mailman!
Here is my card made with the Stamp of the Week, called "Bottoms Up". We all struggle with making masculine cards and here is a perfect stamp -- for any occasion. I made this for a friend who has an anniversary and a birthday on the same day!
The sentiment is "Happy Everything". I hope everyone had a good Mother's Day. It's not too early to start thinking about Father's Day. This would make a great image to make a Father's Day card.
Hope you have a happy stamping day!

Moxie Fab Tissue paper challenge
I was check some of my favorite blogs and I saw Moxie Fab was having a tissue paper challenge -- and I had some purple tissue sitting on my desk -- so put together an easy card that meets this challenge.
Here is my card:
The stamps are from Papertrey Ink and paper is from Basic Grey. I twisted the tissue paper to make a ribbon and twisted some to make the flower. Why don't you join in the challenge. The challenge is to come up with a unique interesting way to use tissue paper. You then can post your project at Moxie Fab World.com.
Thanks -- have a happy stamping day.
