Good Morning! We are still in the days of horrible hot weather! It has been 102-105! Too hot to do anything but stay indoors and stamp! This week Wendy at Repeat Impressions gave us this sketch:
This is a wonderful sketch to work with! I took a few liberties and turned the image and came up with this card:
This uses the dandelion and sentiment in the new Repeat Impressions Summer Images, Dandelion Breeze and All your dreams. I used some Copic markers and some MF paper and crepe paper.
Would you like to try your hand at this sketch? -- we would love to see what you can do. Wendy will do a random drawing for a gift certificate from Repeat Impressions. Just go to her blog The House That Stamps Built and link your card there. Here are members of the Design Team that have made cards to inspire you.
Looking forward to see your creations! Have a HAPPY stamping day.

Repeat Impressions Designers Choice Challenge for July 18
Today is the Designer's Choice Challenge at Repeat Impressions. And it's my turn! I challenge the other designer to use some glitter. It is so hot here 104 today and looks like tomorrow will be the same --- just toooo darn hot! So in anticipation of cooler weather I did a Christmas card with glitter.
I used the Snow Globe and Snowflakes from the Season's and Holiday series. I also used some PK Glitter. The globe was embossed in gold and the snowflakes in white on acetate. I then turned the acetate over and put a thick coat of glitter on the back side of the embossed globe. From the front this makes it look like the glitter is inside the globe.
Check out all the Christmas images from Repeat Impressions -- I decided to get a little head start - because just like so many Christmas', come Oct-Nov things around here get rolling and I get so busy at this time of the year, I don't want to run out of handmade Christmas cards.
Check out what the other team members' projects:
Thank you for looking at my card. Have a HAPPY stamping day

Creative Belli Challenge for July 20
For this Creative Belli challenge we were to use Karen's china as inspiration. Here is her china. Cardinals have a special place in my heart because they were one of my mom's favorite birds. She had names for the ones who frequented the bird feeder in her backyard.
And here is my card.

Stamp TV Alumni Blog Hop Paper Piecing
Carolina does a wonderful job of coming up with great ideas for our Blog Hops -- this time she asked us to do some paper piecing! I LOVE paper piecing. It gives such great dimension to scrapbook layouts or cards. If you have come from Jennie Harper's blog -- then you are right on track. If not you may want to go to Stamp TV and start at the beginning -- take a look at Gina's video -- you will get some fabulous technique ideas for paper piecing.
Ok, here is my card:
I used "Enjoy the Sunshine" stamp set. This stamp set has a ton of images! I also used the Melanie Muenchinger's "A Year of Leaves" under the strawberries.
Another reason I like paper piecing is that I get to use some of my pretty scraps that I just can't bear to throw away. Now hop along to Karen Knegten's blog. You will adore her card!
Thanks for looking at my card.
Have a HAPPY stamping day.

Repeat Impressions What If Wednesdays!
It is Wednesday and time for a new sketch challenge from Repeat Impressions! Don't you just love Wendy's sketches. They are always interesting and always a challenge! Don't miss this one -- it is one of the best so far! Here it is:
And here is my card:
This is from Wendy's new Summer Set, this one is called Lightening Bug Jar, Lightening Bug and the sentiment is Aglow With Good Times.
I added Glossy Accents to the jar to make it look glassy. Do you remember how the WIW challenge works? Here are the details:
(1) Your card doesn’t even have to be made with Repeat Impressions stamps, but if you would like to include their designs we would really love to see them! Plus you will get an additional entry in our random.org drawing for using our stamps in your submissions!
(2) Simply create a card based on Wendy's sketch, upload your card to your blog or Splitcoast gallery, then link your card on the House That Stamps Built blog by clicking on the little blue button.
All participants will be automatically entered into our random drawing. Then on July 13th we will post a new challenge. When that challenge wraps up at the end of the month we will announce the winner from our July challenges. One lucky person will win a $25 Repeat Impressions Gift Certificate!
So what are you waiting for?! Why not play along with us and start stamping up a card now. We can’t wait to see your creations!

Repeat Impressions Makiko Choice Challenge
The Design Team Members at Repeat Impressions take turns in issuing a special challenges. This week it is Makiko's turn. She issued us the challenge to make a Christmas card. This is going to help me get started with my card list. Here is my card:
I used the Penguin Images, Friends Like.... and a sentiment that said "Merry Christmas from one flake to another", but I did a little masking so that I could just use the Merry Christmas part.
Check out what the other team members' projects:

Creative Belli Challenge - Make Your Own
Don't you just love making your own embellishments? With so many tutorials on You Tube and stamping blogs, there is no end to ways of expressing your creativity! Creative Belli wants to challenge you to make your own embellishments. Show us what you can do! Make a project then link it on the Creative Belli Blog.
Remember the goal of Creative Belli Challenges is for you to use old, forgotten or little used embellishments. So go thru those baskets, bins and storage units and find something you would like to dust off and use -- we want to see what you can do with this challenge. So link up your project to the Creative Belli blog. Here is my card:
I made the tissue paper flower by inking up cream colored tissue paper with ink on my brayer, used a Papertrey die to cut out several different sizes of flowers, smusshed them together and added the brad, the butterflies were punched out with a MS punch and then I added the little lines to their wings.
Here are the other designers who have made projects to inspire you.

Here is another Summer Camp Card -- this has been a wonderful online camp and I have learned SO much already. I'm looking forward to week 2. The paper is Papertrey Ink and the little stars are from HL, the acetate is from Gina K Designs.
Have a HAPPY stamping day!

Challenge Card and Summer Camp
I have love the chalkboard paper my sister sent me so I made another quickie card today and then made another card for my Summer Camp.
Now all I need is to get her a piece of chalk and you can actually write on it and erase it just like a chalkboard! The stamp is from Technique Tuesday. Check them out -- gosh they have wonderful stamps
and Camp card from my Summer Camp gave us these color combinations and we were to choose our favorite.
I chose the second one. The paper is from Stella Rose, I cuttlebug cut the "celebrate", flourish & corner piece, added glitter to the celebrate, made a flower, added a brad and a couple of background stickers. The crepe paper back flower is made from MF crepe paper. The brown flourish has a acetate top -- although you can hardly see it.
