Repeat Impressions Contain Yourself Stamp Reveal and Contest

Sketch Day - for Repeat Impressions

Wendy, owner of Repeat Impressions likes to ask us "What would you do if I gave your this sketch?" and I love that question!  It gives me so much freedom to use whatever Repeat Impressions stamps I'm wanting to try out! Love it!!  So here is today's sketch

Vacationing in Maine means ice cream every day to me!  So my mind was tuned into Wendy's Summer Series of ice cream stamps.  So here is my card

Classy Cards 'n Such Baby Card Challenge

Hello friends, today it's Joy posting a card to meet a challenge at Classy Cards 'n Such.  The challenge is to make a baby card.

I cut out 3 bunnies from the die set call Bicycle by Impression Obsession and stamped each bunny with the bunny stamp from the matching set called Ridding Pretty by Impression Obsession.  I layered a little strip of paper from The Lake House by KaiserCraft and then another little strip of paper that I had embossed with the folder called Dots by Crafts Too.  I colored some Eggshell Seam Binding with a Tim Holtz ink pad, made a double bow and attached it to my layers.  I stamped the New Beginnings sentiment from JustRite Stamps near the bottom and attached the 3 little bunnies with small Joy Foam Pads.

Here Comes the Bride....from Classy Cards 'n Such

Hello, Joy here today showing you a Wedding card made with supplies from Classy Cards 'n Such.  I have a friend that just recently got married and had a small out of state wedding so our office staff is giving her a wedding shower and I'll give this to her with a gift card.

I used a silver shiny card stock as the base for rectangle each element. The sentiment was embossed with Sparkle 'n Sprinkle's Silver Fine Detail Embossing powder using one of the stamps from Black Eyed Susan Vintage Labels Five stamp set and die cut using a Spellbinders Vintage labels Five die.  The Wishing you Happiness sentiment is from Botanical Medallions & Banners which I cut out to fit inside of the Labels Five frame and popped up using Joy Foam Pads.  I embossed the larger panel with Anna Griffins Smitten embossing folder and Dots embossing folder by Crafts Too. A bow was added before layering the components on the card base.

Designers Choice Challenge

I love it when Wendy, owner of Repeat Impressions allows the Designers to issue a challenge.  This week it is my turn and I  a challenge to the Designers to make a Baby card.  The card can be for a baby or for someone having a baby.  Here is my card.

First, I love this little train image called Toy Train and the sentiment is called Welcome Little One.  The sentiment is a part of the Quartet Complements series.  This fabulous series has some of the best sentiments for all occasions.  They are also great for putting on the inside of your cards.

Happy Birthday Card for Classy Cards 'n Such

Good Morning! Joy here today posting for Classy Cards 'n Such.  Beverly, owner of Classy Cards 'n Such gave us an opportunity with this challenge to make a Happy Birthday card.

1.  Cut a mat in aqua paper using Matting Basics A by Spellbinders.
2.  Cut the next size mat from white card stock using the Matting Basics A by Spellbinders.
3.  Cut a circle using the negative part of the circle as a mask place this mask on top of the white card stock.
4.  Place Garden Flora Stencil on top of the mask and sponge 3 different colors of Tim Holtz Distress Inks with a Tim Holtz Mini Blending Tool.
5.  Remove the stencil and mask and you will have the circle of Garden Flora.
6.  Cut the Happy Birthday sentiment using the Happy Birthday Extravaganza sentiment by Memory box and cut loose the Happy and place on top of a small strip from Vintage Bliss paper by Simple Stories.
7.  Stamp just the Birthday from the Happy Birthday sentiment from Just Rite Spring Words below the strip, adding 3 small brads.
8.  Layer on top of a card blank.

It's a great feeling knowing I can add this to my card supply and pull it out just when I need it.
