The Master Calls
Hello friends, Joy, here today showing you a butterfly card I made with supplies from Classy Cards 'n Such.
The embossing on the white card stock is from an Anna Griffin Embossing Folder called Juliet Damask. The Anna Griffin folders emboss so well, I was amazing at the depth of embossing achieved from any of the folders. I colored some plain white card stock with a Tim Holtz Mini Ink Blending Tool, overlapping each color. Then I used a die cut called Blissful Butterfly Border, cutting one from black cardstock and one from the cardstock I colored. I used the black for the outline, fitting in the colored butterflies. Then I stamped the sentiment from Sweet 'n Sassy's Majestic Monarchs.
Thank you for looking at my card. Have a happy stamping day.

Have a Happy Day
Good morning friends. Joy, here today showing you a happy day card with supplies I found at the Classy Cards 'n Such online store.
I love shaker cards - and I'm kinda stuck on making them. Here is one I made for a friend.
The papers are from Graphic 45's Botanical Tea and the yellow is from Secret Garden. The Butterfly is from the Majestic Monarchs Stamp Set by Sweet 'n Sassy which was stamped on Clear Cardstock by Heartfelt Creations. This is great for shaker cards because it is thicker and has great body. I used the 1/4 inch Scor-Tape because I needed the strength to keep the clear cardstock firmly in place. The sentiment is from Stampavie and called Sweet Wishes and was stamped on some Heavyweight Vellum and attached with a brad.
Thanks for looking at my card. I hope you have a Happy stamping day!

Birthday Blossoms
Good morning, Joy here for a Classy Cards 'n Such post. I made this card with supplies from the Classy Cards 'n Such online store.
It started with embossing a piece of blue cardstock with Cherry Blossoms Embossing Folder by Darice. Then the rose blossom and sentiment from the set by JusteRite called Hope and Love were stamped on paper from Graphic 45's Secret Garden. The tiny frame was cut from Graphic 45 paper called Botanical Tea. This layer was popped up using Large Joy Foam Pads. I love that so much of Graphic 45's different paper collections coordinate with each other. A bow was tied using Chalk White Seam Binding. These layers were put on top of another piece of Designer paper from the Graphic 45 Secret Garden Collection.
Thanks for looking at my card - be sure to check out all the blossom items at Classy Cards 'n Such. They will reassure you Spring is here.

He Cares for You
Good morning friends, Joy here for Classy Cards 'n Such. I wanted to make a flat card that would could easily be mailed to a friend in Hong Kong and not get messed up in the mail. This is what I made.
First step was to emboss a white piece of cardstock with Anna Griffin's Crowned Medallion Embossing Folder. Then the sentiment by JustRite from Cast All Your Cares, and the flowers from Black-Eyed Susan also by JustRite was stamped on white cardstock. I felt it needed something else so I stamped the butterfly - which was just the right size from Majestic Monarchs by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. The flowers and butterfly were colored with copics and I mounted the layers with Large Joy Foam Pads.
I think this will go thru the mail without any problems since there are no bows, button or brads. Thanks for looking at my card. Have a happy stamping day.

Repeat Impressions
Today for the Repeat Impressions weekly challenge Wendy gave us this photo. Of course I'm crazy about the colors.
And here is my card
I used a background stamp called Genealogy from the text Background Series and the beautiful large butterfly called Butterfly (lg) from the Summer Series. This I shaded with some Tim Holtz inks. I stamped the butterfly on vellum, colored it and cut it out. It was attached with pop dots. I then placed the white panel on a piece of gold and then die cut the wish sentiment.
Well, you know what happens now -- it's your turn to make a project - with Wendy's photo as your inspiration. She has a very nice gift certificate for a randomly chosen winner. You can link your project on The House That Stamps Built blog. Here is our list of Design Team members that will inspire you.

Celebrating You
Good morning! Joy here showing you a card I made for the challenge at Classy Cards 'n Such. This week it is a photo challenge.
The supplies I used can be found at the Classy Cards 'n Such on line store.
I started out by using some of the new Color Bursts by Ken Oliver on several pieces water color card stock, then die cut the feathers. I stamped the banner sentiment from Botanical Medallions & Banners by Just Rite and cut it out. The chicken wire paper is from French Country by Graphic 45 and was die cut using the wide banner die from My Favorite Things' Blueprints 13. The edges were inked up by using a Mini Ink Blending Tool, then the feathers were popped up using Small Joy Foam Pads and a little bit of twine was added.
Side note: - Oh My Goodness -- you will just have to try the new Color Bursts - they are so amazing - I kinda went a little crazy and used almost a whole pack of water color card stock. The color is so intense and it is easy to get fabulous results - and they are ON SALE!
Now back to the challenge - we sure would like for you to join in all the fun - you could be the winner of a nice prize! Just make a project using the guidelines found at the Classy Cards 'n Such blogspot and then link it there or at the bottom of this post. Invite a friend to join you - make a card together or encourage your children to help make a Father's Day Card - wouldn't it be neat if one of your kids won the prize!
Thanks for looking at my card - I look forward to seeing your project.

Silver Thanks
Hello friends, Joy here today showing you a card I made with supplies found at the Classy Cards 'n Such online store. I get to observe teachers in classroom situations and I like sending thank you notes for sharing their classroom with me. This will go into my stash for them.
This started with the Texture Tessatina stencil and shaded it with a Mini Ink Blending Tool and a few bright colors of ink. It was sprayed with a light misting of Tattered Angles Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Mist. This gave a list dusting of glimmer. Then I used Sparkle 'n Sprinkles Silver Detail Embossing Powder on some vellum. The lighting may make the photo look gold, but it's silver. The sentiment is from a set called You Are Beautiful from Impression Obsession. I added a few little sequin type detailing and it was finished - quick and easy.
Thanks for looking at my card - have a happy stamping day.

Thanks so Much
Hello, Joy here today showing you a card I made with supplies from Classy Cards 'n Such. I made this for a friend who did a big favor for me the other day. I am making some brownies to go with it and wanted just a little note to put on top.
I cut one Honey Blossom Die Frame from Graphic 45's Twelve Days of Christmas, one from white card stock and one from some yellow paper. I layered a negative of the white card stock into a positive of the Graphic 45 paper. I cut the little yellow flowers off the yellow die and adhered them into the frame. I stamped the Thanks So Much from the Thanks Sentiment set from Impression Obsession. Then I scored the note in half using a Scor-Buddy. The last thing I did was add some Silver Rock Candy by Queen & Co. to the centers of the flowers.
Thanks for looking at my card. And don't forget to thank those people who are special to you. Supplies at Classy Cards 'n Such will make it so easy to do.
