Anything Goes Challenge at Repeat Impressions!

Ok - here we go ..... --- Love, love this challenge...  Wendy, owner of Repeat Impressions seems to know exactly what day to announce the exact challenge I need.

I have love "experimenting" with watercolors.  I stink at watercoloring! HAAHA - but I have had fun working, watching videos and learning.  This card was a fail/learning card - I diligently watercolored it after watching a video - and it was an epic failure!  But instead of throwing it in the trash.  I took a wide brush and painted water all over it and then because I didn't even want to look at it, I covered it up with a paper towel.  I went off to do some other things and came back to clean up.  Oh my - all the colors were softened and actually looked pretty good.  So.....here's my card

I heat embossed with white embossing powder the Flower Power Background stamp (one of my favorites) and put the Happy Spring sentiment on a vellum die cut.

Now is a good time to join in the challenge --  you could win the $25.00 gift certificate that Wendy is offering in a random drawing.

You don't have to use Repeat Impression stamps but if you do, your name will be entered twice (2x) for a random drawing for a really nice gift certificate from Repeat Impressions.
Check out Wendy's blog, The House That Stamps Built for the complete guidelines and link your project there.

You might want to check out what these Rock Star Designers have created to inspire you.  Good luck - and I'm looking forward to seeing your projects.  If it's watercoloring - great - I want to see what you do!
Thank you for looking at my card.

I enjoy playing around with watercolors too! Your card is so pretty and you'd never guess it started out as an "epic failure!" Great save!

Pretty card - don't toss anything until you give it time to grow on you. LOL Love the vellum with sentiment.

Well, I for one and glad you didn't throw it out! I don't know what it looked like before, but it is gorgeous now! Love the colors and the sentiment on vellum is perfect!
