Sketch Challenge at Repeat Impressions

Today Wendy, owner of Repeat Impressions has a sketch challenge for us.  Here is her sketch:

There are so many possibilities with this one.  Here is my take on it.

I'm making Valentine cards for my friends and grandkids this week and I love the sentiment called Our Friendship...... and the little Patch Work Heart. I cut out two of them and covered them with Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents.  I also used a Background Fill-in called  Random Hearts. - It is so easy to make background layers with this stamp.

Pick of the Week

Today Wendy, owner of Repeat Impressions is allowing me to pick a few stamps that I enjoy working with.  I challenged myself to make a card with no images, just making a sentiment the focal point of the card.  In order to really highlight the sentiment, I used some of Wendy's frames - love, love, love these frames.  Here is what I did.

I am just crazy about the Just Hand over the stamps sentiment.  There is a huge category of stamping verses and sayings - check out Stamping Verses and Stampers Christmas Carols - really cute and some really funny!  The frame for this one is called Billboard Border.

This one uses the large thanks from the set of unmounted stamps called Thanks... and the frame is from the Oval and Circle frame set.

The last card uses the sentiment called Thinking of you and sending.  I used one of the smaller ovals in the Oval and Circle frame set.

Anything Goes this Week!

Hey - Stamping Friends - today at Repeat Impressions Wendy has let us go wild with this challenge - ANYTHING GOES!  Show us what you have been working on!  

Here is what I did.

I worked on learning how to do pop and twist cards.  I made this for my sister because they are in the process of selling their home and hitting the road to travel in a Fifth wheel.  Life is going to get interesting for them.   I used the stamps FifthWheel with pickup, East Africa Map ( I don't think you can tell it's Africa because of the way the die cut was placed), and the sentiments Travel Memories and Travel Light

I just love the sweet image called Moon Angel and the sentiment called I thank my lucky stars.

Tic Tac Toe Challenge

Today at Repeat Impressions we have been challenged with this Tic Tac Toe grid.

Doesn't this grid look like fun?  I challenged myself with the Fun Fold and did something I've never done and made an Easel card.  Here it is

I used the gird  line - Fun Fold, black and white and glitter.  I used the Large Dotted Oval Frame, Life is measured sentiment and the Small Butterfly image which I added glitter to.

Snow Globe Challenge at Repeat Impressions

Good morning friends!  Snow at your house today?  I guess here in Texas all we are going to get is rain!  Wendy, owner of Repeat Impressions has asked Esther, one of the Rock Star Designers to issue us a challenge.   Esther has set a high bar for us by challenging us to make a snow globe.  

Repeat Impressions makes it easy with a fabulous collection of Snow Globes that are easy to stamp and make beautiful cards and scrapbook layouts.  There are images to stamp or make shaker cards.

Here is mine

I used the little Ear Muffs Penguin image and the Snow Globe image which I cut out the center with a die and inserted a pre-made shaker pocket.  The Got Snow sentiment was stamped on a little tag.
