Designer's Choice Challenge

Hello friends!  Once a month Wendy, owner of Repeat Impressions gives each Designer an opportunity to pick a challenge.  This week it is Patti's turn!  She wants us to make a card, layout or project and think "wings" --- Great challenge, Patti!

Of course my first thought turns to a card so this is my answer to her challenge

The green and white are vellum layers.  I stamped the Cat and Hummingbird image on vellum, heat embossed and then colored the backside with copic markers.  It makes for a more subtle coloring. The Thinking of you sentiment was heat embossed with white on black cardstock.  It is part of a larger sentiment that I masked because the "thinking of you" was the perfect size.

Why not join us this week in the challenge --- you could win the $25.00 gift certificate that Wendy is offering in a random drawing. You don't have to use Repeat Impression stamps but if you do, your name will be entered twice (2x) for a random drawing for a really nice gift certificate from Repeat Impressions.

Check out Wendy's blog, The House That Stamps Built for the complete guidelines and link your project there.

You might want to check out what these Rock Star Designers have created to inspire you.  Good luck - and I'm looking forward to seeing your projects.

Very pretty - love the soft subtle colors on the vellum. Most people did birds for this challenge but no hummingbird. Great Job.
