Today Wendy, owner of Repeat Impressions allows each Rock Star Design Team member offer up a challenge and I get to issue a challenge today! So...... today the challenge is to make a project using a water element - rain, water, rivers, anything with water. Here is my card:
I stamped the Sand Dollar in the corner of some card stock. (this reminds me of Sand Beach in Acadia National Park where you can find lots and lots of these sand dollars). I did some sponging using masking tape (my new found love). I used the Thinking of You sentiment and tied a little rope ribbon around the card. It is a flat card, so it will be easy to mail.
Take a look at what the other Rock Stars made to inspire you.

Repeat Impression Designer's Choice Challenge
How is your summer going? Not too much longer and we are going to have to start thinking about back-to-school time! Yikes - I'm not ready!
Joyce, one of the Repeat Impressions Designers has challenged us to make a project - with fun/funny in mind - so here is my card:
I have a friend who is turning 50 -- and she always teases me about being older than her -- so now I'm getting to tease her about being 50! Turn about is fair play.
I used the Jester Banner and the sentiment It's Time to Party. We would like for you to join in our challenge and show us your "funny" project. You do not have to have Repeat Impressions stamps, but if you have any, we would like to see what you can do. If you use them, Wendy, owner of Repeat Impressions will put your name into a hat twice. Just make a project and link it on her blog, The House That Stamps Built.
Here are the other Repeat Impressions Designers who have made some projects to inspire you.

Stamp of the Week from Repeat Impressions
This week Wendy, owner of Repeat Impressions has a special 50% off discount for you on the stamp called Sand Dollar. This is going to be one of my favorites because just this last month, at Sand Beach in Acadia National Park, I found 20 of them - all in one piece! I waded out about 20 feet and reached down to pick up some sand and came up with a handful of them. Well, I didn't stop till I found about 20 of them! It was amazing!
So here's the deal --- go to Wendy's blog, The House That Stamps Built and get the special discount code. Then when you order at Repeat Impressions, put that code into the special instructions blank and you will get your 50% discount.
Here are two cards I made with the Sand Dollar stamp.
You will just love what the other Repeat Impressions Design Team members did to inspire you:

Stamp TV Blog Hop for July
Today Carolina, from Stamp TV challenged us in this blog hop with this sketch. If you have arrived here from my talented friend, Gerri you are right on target.
This sketch gave me an opportunity to use one of my favorite stamp sets called Shine On. I love the little chick with the umbrella. The little "hi" sentiment is from the set called Sweet Friend. The ribbon is from one of Stamp TV Stamp Kits and the cardstock is Turquoise Sea (which I love, love, love) and GKD White for the card base. I added a few silver pearls to the umbrella and those sweet rain boots.
Make sure to leave a comment as you go along because we will choose a random comment and that stamper will win a grab bag of Gina K. Designs products! Look for the announcement on Tuesday, July 16.
Now hop on to Karen's blog. You will really like her card!

Creative Belli Challenge - Red White and Blue
Darsie, owner of the Creative Belli Challenge has used the theme of red, white and blue to challenge our project making skills!
Remember the goal of the Creative Belli Challenge is for us to use material, tools and embellishments that we already have - perhaps something you haven't used in a while -- So dust off those neglected items and get crackin'!
Here is my project - and it was a REAL CHALLENGE for me. I'm on vacation, far, far from home and my card making comfor zone! I did bring a few supplies with me and so here is what I came up with:
The stamp is from Repeat Impressions called Bodie Island Lighthouse - I had it in the few supplies that I brought and the paper is some scraps.
Here are the Designers who made projects to inspire you before you make your project - and link it on the Creative Belli Challenge Blog. Just make your project and let us sweet what you do with red, white and blue - I'm looking forward to seeing what you do.

Repeat Impressions Stamp of the Week - Leaf Motif
Wendy from Repeat Impressions has put one of my favorite stamps on sale for 50% off. It is called Leaf Motif - it is a gorgeous stamp that can be used to create backgrounds or as an accent. I made two cards this week. I could have made more. I love this stamp -- should I say it again -- I love this stamp.
Just go to Wendy's blog, The House That Stamps Built and get the special sale code. Then when you purchase this stamp, you can put the code in the special instructions blank. Here are two cards:
This one I needed for a friend whose mother just passed away and I wanted one that was not too frilly, but clean and simple.
I used copper colored embossing powder and added the sentiment.
This one I jazzed up a little with the ribbon
