Designers Choice Challenge

Good Morning friends!  Today Laurie, one of the Repeat Impressions Rock Stars has challenged us to use a stencil on a project!  You ready?  Here we go with mine:

I used a feather stencil and went for a smooth wispy look to the feathers.  I used the stamp called Falling Feathers as my background in several different colors.  The sentiment is from my favorite division called Quartet Compliments - some really great sentiments for all occasions.  This one is called Find beauty.  I lightly sponged a little blue/grey onto the background.  The feathers are highlighted with Wink of Stella.

I know you have a couple of stencils you would like to show off.  So why not join us this week in the challenge --- you could win the $25.00 gift certificate that Wendy is offering in a random drawing. You don't have to use Repeat Impression stamps but if you do, your name will be entered twice (2x) for a random drawing for a really nice gift certificate from Repeat Impressions.

Check out Wendy's blog, The House That Stamps Built for the complete guidelines and link your project there.

You might want to check out what these Rock Star Designers have created to inspire you.  Good luck - and I'm looking forward to seeing your projects.

I like Wednesday mornings looking at all my teammates fabulous cards (and it is my day off of work). Your combination of stenciled leaves and stamped leaves with this saying is gorgeous! Quartet Compliments is one of my favorite sections too!

I'm just a little jealous of your ability to stamp a random pattern on your background -- I can't seem to do that no matter how how I try! Your stamp and stencil go together perfectly on this awesome card!

Love the feathers - perfect with the feather stencil, and the stamped feathers are in subtle colors. Great job on the DC.
