Sketch Time at Repeat Impressions.

I used one of the new images from Wendy's new series called Parings.  I used one of the cupcake images and the cherries.  My grandson loves cherries and we always ask for a baby cup of them from Sonic.  He thinks he is so special!(and I agree, tee,hee)

Repeat Impressions Designers Choice Challenge

Today Janice, one of the Rock Star Designers from Repeat Impressions has challenged us to make a project that has fur, fin or feathers -- sounds like fun, doesn't it?  Repeat Impressions has so many stamps that would be right on target for that challenge!  Here is mine:

The background paper was created with a technique that used watercolors (like a child's inexpensive set) then while it is wet, you sprinkle table salt on it -- really took on dramatic effects!  The darker the color the better - This one I used a turquoise paint and when I added the salt, it looked like water - that's why I chose this image called "Under the Sea", colored it with some copics, added some little rhinestones, cut it out with a spellbinders die and back that onto a piece of black cardstock.

Creative Belli Challenge - Flowers

Stamp TV May Color Challenge

This month Carolina from Stamp TV has challenged us with a Color Challenge provided by Miejse.  The colors she wants us to use are a non-Christmas red and green card with a neutral color Black, White or Tan.

If you have come from Kay's blog, you are right on track.  Her card was gorgeous!  The beginning of the hop starts here at Stamp TV.

This is my card:

 For this card I used Stamp It Big, made some more washi tape from GKD Designer Papers called Hello Sunshine, Sun Kissed Autumn, Wisteria Lane, and a few unknown scraps.  Then I stamped the sentiment Friends onto Gina K Designs Pure Luxury White layering cardstock and backed this onto Black Onyx which I layered onto GKD heavy duty cardstock.

For this card, I used the stamp set called Poster Board Sentiments and the DP is from Merry Little Christmas, Cranberry Tart cardstock and  I used GKD Dark Sage Ink and Dark Sage cardstock - this is a gorgeous color!

I love kitties  and I have one that is kinda weird, but I love her.  Her name is Purdy and was an abandoned kitten.  It took her a long time to get used to me and be a friendly kitten to pet, but she still reacts kinda crazy with loud noises.

I used a cuttlebug folder and some scrap paper and colored it with copics and did a little shading.  The I (heart) cats is also one of Wendy's stamps from Repeat Impressions. (it is not on the sale)

I really enjoy this Raggedy Ann and Andy stamp.    It is easy to color and so cute!  I ended up using some scraps of paper in my huge scrap pile -- and the Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Quartet Compliments Series.  Raggedy Ann and Andy are pop dotted on the spellbinders die cuts.

I'm a big one for handwritten invitations to events and I've made these for a granddaughter's birthday party --- and the theme will be ---- CUPCAKES!!  We are going to let the little girls decorate their own with all kinds of sprinkles, candles and candy! Stamp TV Celebrates Spring

 I made washi tape from Gina K's Spring Parade paper pack.  Her papers are of such high quality and bright colors that it is easy to make washi tape from them!  I saw a tutorial and it is really easy.  I used one of the stamps from the Spring Parade StampTV kit.

Stamps are from the Spring Parade kit and the tiny flower is from my favorite stamp set called Stamp It Big.   The cardstock is Sweet Mango in the Spring Parade Kit as well as the tiny white brads.

Repeat Impressions Designers Choice Challenge

Today Christy one of the Repeat Impressions Design Team members challenged us to make a CAS card - now some say CAS is Clean and Simple, some say Clean and Stamped and I even heard it called Clean and Space (meaning lots of white space showing) -- So however you take it, here is a card I made:

Not much white space, but pretty simple.  I used the Butterfly and Celebrate Spring stamp.  The butterflies are stamped in versamark and I used some Copic markers on the flowers.  Took me about 10 minutes to make.

Now Christy wants to challenge YOU -- make a CAS card, post it on Wendy's blog, The House That Stamps Built.  If you have some Repeat Impressions stamps - inspire us with them.  You don't have to use Repeat Impressions stamps, but if you do, your name will be put in twice for a randomly drawn winner for any one unmounted sheet of stamps of their choice from Repeat Impression!

Repeat Impressions Designer's Choice Challenge

This week Geri, one of the Rock Stars from Repeat Impressions challenged the rest of us to make a card with spring flowers - in East Texas spring is in full bloom! Dogwood, azaleas, daffodils and tulips are popping up all over!

Stamp TV Blog Hop with GLITTER
