Repeat Impressions Designers Choice Challenge!

Every few weeks  Wendy, owner of Repeat Impressions allows each Rock Star Design Team member offer up a challenge and today it is Deonna's turn.  She wanted us to make projects that have no square anywhere!  I made two cards and they were quick, quick.  Here are my cards:

I made one thank you card and one Merry Christmas Card. I'm thinking about using this as my Christmas cards because it will be a quick.  I used the Merry Christmas from the Snow Globes and Ornaments Section.  The Thank You is from Thank You for your Christmas Blessing -- but done with some masking.
Take a look at what the other Rock Stars made to inspire you.

Classy Cards 'n Such Thinking of you

Hi -- today it's Joy showing you a card I made with a stamp set from Classy Cards 'N Such.  It is called A Mountain View.  I bought this set in order to make some classy Men's Cards - they are always a challenge for me, but this set is going to make it easy.

I used  Tim Holtz Distress Inks (love 'em!) and to ink up my paper and a couple of Tim Holtz Distress Ink Markers to add just a little color.  I distressed the edges with a distress tool and used the tweezers from my Paper Blossoms Tool Kit to grab the edge of the corner and curl.  I held it for a minute and it stayed curled.  I colored some twine with my Tim Holtz Markers and tied in a knot.

Check out Classy Cards 'N Such stamp sets - there are so many good ones - I have a very long list - hoping Santa will bring me a few.

Thanks for looking at my card, have a happy stamping day.

Classy Cards 'n Such Card Time

Good morning!  It's Joy here to show you what I made with papers from Classy Cards 'n Such.  I love the "shabby chic" look and it's easy to achieve with these special papers from Kaiser Craft  I hope the "shabby chic" look never goes away.

Here is my card:
I used Designer Papers called Lake House from Kaiser Craft.  Oh my goodness I love each one of these papers and it is hard for me not to hoard them!  The stamp is from a great stamp set by JustRite Stamps called Just Keep Calm.  It was stamped on one of the many die cuts in the paper pad.  This set lets you make up you own "Keep calm and........." phrase.    It is quite a large stamp set with lots of sentiments.  It was stamped on one of the many die cuts in the paper pad.   The flowers were cut out using my favorite Cheery Lynn Designs Build a Flower #2 Die using some old pattern paper and very lightly inked with Tim Holtz Crushed Olive and Worn Lipstick Ink Distress Inks. After I punching a little bottom trim, stitching was used to attach the gray patterned piece to the card.  I added some Little White Pearls for a little bit of bling.

Classy Cards 'n Such Birthday Card

-->
Hi Joy here today posting a card for Classy Cards 'n Such.   – Is your summer going by too fast – can’t believe that summer is almost over.  I'm trying to make the most of the few days that are left.

Today I started out making a Christmas card - trying to get ahead on my list –  and somehow it morphed into a birthday card – ha,ha, - sometimes, cards just take on their own personality!

1.  Ink up a stamp from JustRite Stampers called Vintage Filigree Fancies with red ink on script paper and heat emboss with Clear Embossing Powder.

2.  Ink up the Birthday Blessings Stamp from the Vintage Filigree Fancies set with red ink, and emboss with Clear Embossing Powder on a simple tag.

3.  Assemble on red card stock, place on card base and add White Pearl Accents (which are on SALE!)

This is a simple and fast card to make – Now I’m ready for that Birthday Party!

Have a HAPPY stamping day!

Classy Cards 'n Such

Hi friends!  Today I'm so excited about being a Guest Designer for Classy Cards 'n Such.  Thank you so much Beverly for allowing me the opportunity!  Take a look at their selection of stamping supplies.  You will be quite surprised at some of the new items!!

Here is a card I made - I used a beautiful stamp from Just Rite Stamps called Sea Shell Bay.  There are some beautiful stamps and sentiments in this group.  I heat embossed it using Antiquities Embossing Powder and added some Seam Binding I dyed brown. (p.s.  you will love the price of this seam binding).  The little tool called "Bow Easy" makes tying triple bows super easy - this is a tool that is small and stays out on my crafting table.  The Spellbinders Die I used is called Label Twenty-Two.

Thank you for looking at my card - please go by Classy Cards and Such - take a look at the great supplies!

Classy Cards 'n Such

Hi – Joy here today I was so honored when Beverly owner of Classy Cards 'n Such asked me to be a guest designer.  What a special privilege this is - I am excited about this opportunity!
I needed to make a sympathy card -- so here we go --

1. Sponge a piece of cardstock with Tim Holtz Weathered Wood Distress Ink, then mist a background stamp from Impression Obsessions called Vine with water from a Spritz Bottle then stamp on the inked cardstock – then add a few inked spots with a Viva Décor Pearl Pen.
2. Die cut some flowers from the Cheery Lynn Build a Flower#1 and #2.
3. Heat emboss prayer sentiment  from JustRite Stampers called BotanicalMedallions and Banners with Detail White Embossing Powder on a piece of vellum.
3.  Punch a little border from pink & white paper then assemble flowers on vellum and assemble on card.
I’ll add an encouraging sentiment on the inside and mail to a family friend.  Thanks for looking at my card.  Here is a list of the supplies I used:
