Anything Goes Repeat Impressions Challenge

 Good Morning Friends!  We are so close to Christmas and I am finishing up last minute projects.  I love making ornaments for my tree.  The spool ornaments are from a Pinterest inspired post.  The larger two are ornament die cuts.  I used the Sheet Music from the Legacy Series - it's a great background stamp and can be used so many ways.  For my ornaments it was perfect!  For the spools, I just cut it up and for the 3-D ornaments I just placed my die on the stamped image.

Pick of the Week Featuring Marquee & Oval Frames

 Good Morning!  Today Wendy is allowing me to feature a stamp and show how I use it.  Repeat Impressions' Frame stamps make your project look so well done.  Here is how I used them.

I have a few last minute Christmas Cards I need to get out TODAY!  So I made several of these

Really such a fast and easy card that's pretty because of the stamps.  I love the East Africa Map Image and it goes so well on a background.  The Marquee Frame is the small one and I stamped the Joy sentiment in red - but you could use so many other sentiment.

Next up is Valentine's Day and I have so many of these to make that I get started the week after Christmas so I can get them in the mail.  Here is what I'm doing this year with the Wavy Oval Frame.  The one I used was the small Wavy Oval Frame

Again fast and easy - the Oval Frame is so pretty and is quick to stamp.  I used the sentiment Happy Valentine's Day, but so many other sentiments fit so well.  In the next few weeks you will see other ways I'm using the Marquee and Oval Frames.

December Designer's Choice Challenge

 Oh Yipee!  I get to challenge everyone to make a project - this challenge will be Pets - Any kind, any color, any sentiment - think outside the box - you have a pet goat?,  how about a pet snake - show me a project about pets!  Here is mine

I used a sketch and the sentiment called Loved an animal.....  This is under the Cat Stamp Categories, but I often think about this about my dog who passed away a few years ago.  Be sure to check out all the categories of Pet stamps that Wendy has created.  There are lots of them and all of them are so special.

Anything Goes Challenge

The image is called Holiday Preparations - isn't it the sweetest image ever?  The sentiment is called Christmas is in the Air.  And various Snowflakes(sm) were added by using white embossing powder and heating.

100 Same Dress Challenge

I heard about a challenge that is to wear the same dress for 100 days in a row.  It is put out by Wool&.  I am in the process of cleaning out my closet and thought this was a great way to begin.  I cleaned and donated 10 bags of clothes.  Several days later my dress from Wool& was at my doorstep.  I ordered the navy in a style called.     I wanted to see the fabric and fit before I really made a 100 day commitment.  

I loved the feel and weight of the dress.  It even had POCKETS!  That is a real plus.  It's  swingy, light and very comfortable.

True confession here - I don't do much laundry - all my clothes except towels and some sheets go to the dry cleaners.   I realized I would need 2 - while one was at dry cleaners I could wear the other one and ordered another one.  Guess what - ALL sold out.  But that didn't stop me from going on with the challenge.  After 3 days in the same dress I threw it in the washing machine and dryer!!  

Oh my stars it washed up beautifully and I knew then this challenge would not be so hard.  So here's first seven days

I did this from a sketch that was given me to make cards for a California SPCA.  You will see more of this sketch next month.  I made this without a sentiment so that the giver can write inside whatever sentiment they want.

The image is called Happy Puppy.  Isn't he cute!!  I colored with Copics and covered him in Wink of Stella.

Tic Tac Toe Challenge

Good Morning Friends - here we are with a new Tic Tac Toe Challenge.  This is the grid that Wendy, owner of Repeat Impressions gave us

 And here is the card I made using Border or Frame, Embossing and Jack-o'lanterns.

What I liked about this card is that I could use it for Halloween or Thanksgiving.  I used the images Round Pumpkin and Tall Pumpkin and the Happy Pumpkin Day from the Halloween Stamps section and Maple Leaf Silhouette and Oak Leaf from the Autumn Stamps section.  The background was dry embossed and the pumpkins were heat embossed with an ultra thick embossing powder.
