Little Paper Shop Challenge 83

It's Monday and Little Paper Shop has another challenge for us.  This week the challenge is to use these colors:
Of course this reminds me of fall!  I saw these treat bags on a tutorial and thought I'd do them for Halloween.  You can put candy or other little treats in them.  I put cookies - my grandsons will eat these this weekend and I'll have to make some more to hand out when  Halloween rolls around.
Here is a card I made:
The spider is on a little springy memory wire.  The stamp set is called "Boo".
Why don't you join in the challenge?  Little Paper Shop challenges  are so much fun - get your colors out and go!!
One random participant will win the Jena Horse digi. Please load your card to the InLinkz Program found on the Little Paper Shop Blog. You have until 9:00pm EST Sunday night to get your card loaded. When you upload to a public gallery please use the keyword LPSC83.

For inspiration check out the designers on the blog!

STAMP TV AUGUST CHALLENGE HOP

I've soooo enjoyed the challenges this past month.  This time Caroline from Stamp TV challenged us to make a "limited supply" card using these parameters:

1 Neutral
2 Colors of Cardstock
3 buttons
1 patterned designer paper
1 ribbon

This was fun -- dug out some stuff and scattered it all over my desk and proooooffffff --- out popped this card!

Stamp set: So Grateful from Rupa Shevde and the cute sentiment "boo to you" is from Melanie Muenchinger's Hip to be Square
Cardstock: Chocolate Kiss, Sweet Mango, Kraft(my neutral)
DP:  is from Debbie Mumm

Now if you came here from Joan Erwin (aren't her cards amazing!) you are right on track.  Your next stop is Karen Knegten -- you will LOVE what she has created.  After you have finished with the last stop, please leave a comment at Stamp TV and let us know what you think!

STAMP of the WEEK for Repeat Impressions

Ok, this is my favorite -- I know I say that all the time, but really -- this is --- because of the memories I have surrounding Portland Headlight Lighthouse.  First of all, I love Maine and second I love Maine lighthouses.  This is one of the neatest ones!  George Washington commissioned this light house!  It has several buildings besides the light tower.  It's in Cape Elizabeth which is a beautiful area.  If you are ever near Cape Elizabeth, this is a must stop.

    Here is my card:
Now remember that when you visit The House That Stamps Built, this stamp is available exclusively to our blog readers at 50% OFF from August 9 – August 15, 2010 only. Creative Belli Challenge 97

Hey, it's time for a new challenge from Creative Belli!  The team challenge is to use your OLD and FORGOTTEN embellishments!  This week's challenge is to use paint - don't buy new - use some you already have lying around -- I used some ivory acrylic paint - there was so little left I watered it down and it worked perfectly!

    Here is my card:
I used paint on the purple bottom part of the card to make it very light purple,  I painted the Martha Steward doily because it was white and I wanted it to be cream. I also paint over the flowered dp by Melissa Francis because I wanted it to look faded.  The little violets are a vintage die cut -- I have hundreds of these, but like to just collect them! Ha- I need to start using them.  MS die cut has glitter all over it.  The butterfly has been colored with copic markers and pearls added.  The sentiment is Papertrey Ink.

Here are the other team members and what they have created for your inspiration.

    Here's how you can enter!
If you upload to a gallery please use keyword CBC97 and provide a direct link to your project. Mention that you designed the project specifically for our challenge.
If you upload to your blog provide a DIRECT LINK to your project using Mr. Linky below by August 17th. Then somewhere in your post, mention our challenge and link back to our blog.
Please don't link us to projects you have posted prior to today. We want you to create a new project. It's ok to combine with other challenges.

    HAVE A GREAT STAMPING DAY!!

    LITTLE PAPER SHOP CHALLENGE 79

FOR REPEAT IMPRESSION POST - see next post - thanks!!

Today we are being challenge by Little Paper Shop to use these colors:
I went thru all my papers and picked out the brightest blue and brightest pink I could find and here are two cards.
This card uses the stamp set Young at Heart - this is a new set and I've enjoyed making several birthday cards for my "older" friends!  I put rows of the numbers on my stamping block and randomly stamped them on some polka dot dp.

This one uses a flower image from Friends - it has several flower images and the sentiment is from Swirls.

One random participant  will win the Kati Swing digi. (by the way this is a DARLING image!) Just add your card to the InLinkz program on the LPS blog for your chance to win. You have until 9:00pm EST this coming Sunday to get your card linked. Please use the keyword LPSC79 if you upload to a public gallery.

    Have a HAPPY stamping Day!
