And here is a card I made using the colors in the photo.

I used the small Palm Frond Silhouette stamped in the inspirational colors and the sentiment called To everything there is a season....  this is another font that I really like.

Tic Tac Toe Challenge

Good Morning Friends - here we are with a new Tic Tac Toe Challenge.  This is the grid that Wendy, owner of Repeat Impressions gave us

 And here is the card I made using Border or Frame, Embossing and Jack-o'lanterns.

What I liked about this card is that I could use it for Halloween or Thanksgiving.  I used the images Round Pumpkin and Tall Pumpkin and the Happy Pumpkin Day from the Halloween Stamps section and Maple Leaf Silhouette and Oak Leaf from the Autumn Stamps section.  The background was dry embossed and the pumpkins were heat embossed with an ultra thick embossing powder.

Designers Choice Time at Repeat Impressions

 Today our challenge is "Less is More" at Repeat Impressions!  -- That's a little tough for me -- HAHA - I always want to add a bow, a button or layers!  Here is my card - no bows and no bling.

The sentiment is from the Autumn Flip Set, the color block is called Round Corners and the beautiful leaf is called Maple Leaf Silhouette from the Solids category.

One of my favorite images is the Black Cat, the tree is called Fall Tree and Happy Haunting sentiment.  Isn't that scrip the best for Halloween!

100 Same Dress Challenge

Hi - I'm not one to usually take on strange challenges, but today is the day!  I'm wearing the same dress for 100 days - WHAT???? - Challenge by wooland.com - go check it out.  I'm going to try it - so is my friend, Linda Dyer.  I ordered the Navy - thinking I might find some cool leggings to go with Navy.

My girls have laughed their head off - they don't think I can do it. We will see - I'm willing to try.  So here goes.  Day one pic

Pick of the Week at Repeat Impressions

 Today I get the opportunity to show off a few Repeat Impressions stamps.  I'm taking this opportunity to focus on sentiments.  Wendy, owner of Repeat Impressions Stamps has created a series of sentiment stamps called Quartet Compliments.  This is a series of wonderful sentiments from Happy Birthday to Thinking of you - and for this post I'm focusing on 4 of them (and they are all on sale!)

Because I was able to focus on the sentiment these cards went together very quickly.  These were put together in about 10 minutes - great to add to my card stash.

I made it using a technique called "Reverse Stenciling". It was a totally new technique for me.  I know I'll do it again.

Repeat Impressions Tic Tac Toe Challenge

 Good Morning!  Today Wendy, owner of Repeat Impressions gave us a Tic Tac Toe Challenge.  Here is the grid she made up for us.

I went with Frame, Fun Fold and Vellum.  I'm not sure the name of the technique, but some call it flat fold or silhouette card.  My favorite paper is vellum so the sentiment was easy for me.  The flat fold was a little "fidley" but I enjoyed it and will do another one soon.

Repeat Impressions Challenge - in the Dark

Today, one of Repeat Impressions Rock Star - Donna has issued us a challenge to make a card involving dark - interesting!  I used black card stock with white embossing and colored it with pencils.  I like this technique and you will see it more.  Here is my card
